midrin seems to work the best for me, plus, I can get a lot more of it per month than the other triptan types.

Zomig seems to work for me, I also take 500mg magnesium with it.  Sometimes Tylenol headache, but it usually doesn't work..........If I have to go to the ER they use DHE, with Haldol because of the side effects of the DHE, that works.

In regards to your poll, my first line of defense when I have a migraine is Fiorinal C1/2, or Tylenol #3, but the Tylenol upsets my stomach. If neither work I will take either Morphine or Demerol, but this is only in severe cases in which I didnt catch the migraine at the beginning.

The reason I have access to Morphine and Demerol is due to the fact that when I have had severe migraines and I go to the hospital, they inject you with most likely Demerol but sometimes Morphine, and thats all, so rather than wait in a hospital, I just take the medication at home and lie down.

I have also started Botox treatment for my migraines, as they are primarily started by anxiety, and my muscles in my neck and upper back seize, thus causing the migraine. This treatment is new to me, but I have noticed that my muscles are not tensing up as easily as they used to.

I take zomig and naproxen at the same time... although, always zomig first if I know that it's a migraine... because sometimes the naproxen isn't a good idea apparently according to the information they gave me at the pharmacy... like, I'm not supposed to lie down after taking it for half an hour and I'm supposed to eat something with it... so, if I wake up in the middle of the night with a migraine, I will JUST use the zomig and not the naproxen because I won't want to have a snack or sit up for half an hour! I usually don't have snacks with the naproxen anyway though because... who wants to have a snack when they feel sick to the stomach from a migraine, eh?? Oh well!
