Am I pregnant?

About six weeks ago I was told that I was expecting. Four days after I was told that I miscarried because the HcG hormones in my blood dropped. I was also told that the HcG hormones in my urine was not strong enough to turn my urine pregnancy test hot pink. I never experienced any pain, bleeding or discharging. I took a urine pregnancy test about 2 weeks after and it came out hot pink. I haven't had a menstrual cycle since the beginning of May. Is it possible that I am still expecting my first child?

Jas - go to your doctor! They should be monitoring you during a miscarriage to see what happens to your hcg levels. If you have not bled by now from the mc, I would DEFINETLY be going in to the dr. Either you need help with this miscarriage before you get an infection (or worse) or you have a healthy pregnancy and need to be seeing a dr on a regular basis.

Sorry if I sound like your mother, but I just had a mc around the same time as you and I bled for a WHILE and I am now physically ready to start trying again. I was also heavily monitored during the mc (it was my first one) - blood worrk every 1-2 weeks. That's crazy that your doctor didn't do that. I am mad at your doctor!

Let us know how it works out! :) Best of luck!

The doctors never did anything to me because they said i was 4 1/2 weeks when i was really only 2 1/12 weeks. They said it was too early to do anything to me and that my body should have been returning to normal soon but that was almost 2 months ago.

I would call your MD and tell them that you are getting positive pregnancy tests.  They may want to do some blood work to see where your levels are.  Normally if you miscarry you bleed and cramp because you have to pass the baby but your body may not be expelling the fetus.  Did you have a D&C done?  If not you may need one if you truly did have a miscarriage.  I am hoping that your levels are going up and it was just a lab error.  Good luck and I hope you get good answers.

Yes that is possible that you could still be pregnant.  I think you should go get a blood test done to confirm everything.
