Could this really be happening???

Hey ladies, Happy Easter!! Hope everyone is well!

Ok so heres the Q....This morning, now being able to wait any longer I tested, I should have waited until the 16th...
I got a VERY fain BFP, I can see it!!! The line is there, well no later then 1 hour after I tested I started bleeding
Its light, but like a light period. Now I wish I had never tested!
Did I just test and get my BFP only to m/c 1 hour later??
What should I do?? What are the chances?
Even someone with a story that has a happy ending would be nice!!
Thanks

Thank you everyone!

It always helps to know your not alone!
I did have a m/c back in 1/09 at 7 weeks. I not really sure but I think that when I was 16 I had one then to, it was all very close to the same things as now. I never did test so I will never know for sure.
I do have to say that this is nothing close to what I felt with my last, I am so happy I didnt have to hear and see a heart beat this time!! I am thankful for that!
My doc. didnt really say much, he told me not to test so early! lol
He is really great and very understanding. He said that I would not have known and when I found out I was 'not' preg that I was just going to try again so there was no sense in waiting....I was happy to hear that to.
I think that I may wait for a while anyway...Im not really sure why at this point, I just feel like I should.
I'll keep you all posted!
Thank you!!!!
*HUGS*

I am sorry for your loss.

As mentioned by youme123, some of us have had these losses (mine 3 weeks back) and we will get through it.

My doctor said since its a chemical pregnancy and m/c was natural, I can start trying immedietely.

What did ur doctor say?

Good luck when u try to conceive again.

Hi - I'm so sorry you are going through this (sounds like it's not your first m/c, and I am so sorry for that, too).  I agree with mikaleen: it sounds like a chemical pg to me, too.  I just had one on 3/9.  A very faint positive two days in a row, then a glaring negative the next and bleeding hours later.  My doc said exactly what yours and mikaleen's said.  We are testing early and a huge percentage of "late AFs" are chemical pgs.  It's hard to deal with that kind of loss, in my opinion, because some people think they aren't really losses (when they are).  Rest assured, some of us have had these (mine so recently), and we will get through it!  And, we will get BFPs again - I know it.  It's just a matter of time.  Did your doc tell you to wait a cycle before ttc again?  Thinking of you...

Hey,
I'm sorry.  It sounds like a chemical pregnancy, which was my first m/c.  My Dr. told me the same, that if we didn't have such sensitive tests we would never know we were pregnant when we had one.  Apparently it's very very common for an egg to get fertilized during a cycle but to not develop properly from the start.  I was just reading about it and how it's something like 40% of pregnancies conceived happen like that, now that we can test so early we are just more aware.  I know it doesn't make it any easier, but sometimes information helps with coping.  Mine ended up being just like a regular period with a little more intense cramping.   Good luck when you try again!

Hey Ladies thank you for the support and helpful words!

I have found out that I did have another m/c....I am not sure how Im feeling about it.
My doc said not to worry unless the bleeding doesnt stop because, really I should have even known I was preg yet. My emotions are not to bad right now, I asume its because I didnt have high levels yet.
Well just thought I would let you know and say thank you!

any bleeding should be checked out but doesn't mean miscarriage i know if its close to your period a lot of women have said they noticed some spotting around their period date for several months after finding out they were pregnant.. Good luck to you don't worry too much but definetly get into the doctor :)

And Congrats!

I had bleeding with my son as well, and it lasted for several weeks.  Everything turned out fine, and he is a happy and healthy 2 year old.  I agree that i would get in to see my dr just to be safe.  Also, request that they do a blood test and not just the urine test.  Take care, and good luck.

Thanks Natalie!

I am worried! I did have bleeding with my son, however that was before I new I was pregnant with him so it didnt bother me...
I would be so upset if I got my BFP just to lose it!
Hope you are well!!!

Teddi, I would wait and retest but I would also call the dr and get an appointment just to make sure everything is going ok. I know you're worried but I've heard of several of the girls having some bleeding in the first trimester.
Also, there is a new forum ttc after miscarriage. This and the new forum are both great for lots of support.
Take care hun xxx
