Can a fetus and yolk sac disappear?

...If they have been there previously on a vaginal ultrasound?
I'm so confused. I went in for my first ultrasound last Monday when I was 6w2d and I saw the fetus and the heartbeat and everything looked healthy. Then I went in for another ultrasound on Wednesday when I was 7w4d because I had some brown blood when I wiped last Thursday and the nurse couldn't find anything.
1. How could my fetus just disappear?
2. She said she found the yolk sac with an abdominal ultrasound but she couldn't even find it with a vaginal ultrasound. So did she just not know what she was doing?
I haven't had any bleeding besides the brown blood which only happened once and I haven't had any cramping. If I had a miscarriage wouldn't the baby fall out of me or wouldn't it show on the ultrasound?

I too have a same problem , in fact I did not have any spotting of blood. I’m worried. I’m like 11 weeks pregnant now .

You might have had a blighted oven. You would have to Google it I don't remember all the info. If I were you I would have a second scan done. You said she couldn't find the baby on a vaginal or abdominal u/s kudzu gl
