Popcorn- My mom has chrohns, she was always very sick when I was growing up. My dad would get us up and ready for school b/c mornings were hard for her, similar to your dad. When my dad had his heart attack, my mom had cancer. It was a relly rough time. My mom is doing better but as you may have read, my dad passed away 3 years ago. I miss him so much. You're not being a downer, life sometimes seems so unfair. Things will get better. I hope you have a great weekend!
We're on a new thread now, we all talk so much, it helps though.

Wow! That was alot of reading!

I am the youngest of three girls and we are all 4-5 yrs apart. My mom died in a car accident when I was 14, so 14 yrs ago and my dad died when I was 20 due to stomach cancer. My mom was a  very sick woman. She had chrohns and colitis and rheumatoid arthritis, so she was very limited in what she could do. I don't have alot of memories with her b/c my dad did everything. He was supper dad! We were so close and I miss him so much. He was the one to cook, work, outside and indoor housework, taught me all my sports and we were so close and we were friends.
I feel like I've gone through alot in my life and would like to have one thing go my way.
I am so thankful to have my boyfriend or DH (common-law) of 81/2 yrs. He is my one true love and would not be able to live without him.
I'm sorry to be such a downer, but reading all your posts made me think of my situation.

I did one opk yesterday and it was negative, but I'm not really expecting anything until Monday.

Lori-I know that has to be hard. I know you'll be holding a baby of your own again soon. Is she a good baby? They're all good, some are just more fussy than others. I miss that baby stage, it's wonderful.
It's been a pretty bad day for me, being sick and alone in the house except for Sarah. I've been crying so much today. Maybe it's a/f (hormones) or the fact that I've got the flu. I hope tomorrow is better, I'm sick of feeling sad and ill.

Lori-I'm with you. I did wait til after the first trimester, it still didn't work. Oh well, next time with the exception of what I already have, I won't buy a thing until our baby is in my arms, too!
I'm not the superstitious type but maybe I should get rid of all the stuff I had bought adn not use it for the next one.

Brandy- "WHEN" I do get preggers again i'm not buying anything until that little one is safley in my arms. I have to babysit a 4 month old tonight, I love to have her but sometimes it upsets me.

Bridgette -thanks for wanting to put my name on the preggers list, but school first young lady! I did the pregnancy tracker on here & it puts me at 5wks & 4 days. (we'll see what the US says when I actually go to the dr).

Natalie- sorry to hear you are sick, but YAY about AF coming!!!!

I don't usually get on here over the weekends, but I had some reading on here to catch up with. The hubby is outside working on the yard & the kids are running i & out so I thought what the heck? I'm still feeling good (and tired) so nothing new. I'm going to see if my new ticker will post...i'm almost scared to use it for fear of something bad happening. My BFs baby shower is next Saturday (yes the one who is due 12 days after my due date) & I was trying to FORCE myself to baby shop for her the other day & was SO scared. You all know how they say not to buy for the baby until after the 1st tri-mester...well I was literally walking around the store going "remember this is not for you & your baby, nothing bad will happen. i repeat, this is not..." How mentally unstable do I sound? Paranoid much?

Good afternoon girls. Well last night didn't happen, dd woke up with a stomach ache and I had one too. I threw up this morning, yuck. I think I have the stomach flu that I was avoiding. My sister and her kids had it last week and I'm sure we got it from them.
On a happier note, a/f is here!! I'm so excited, now only 1 more cycle.
Lori-you were right!
I'm going to watch some tv, my plans today have to be put on hold until I feel better. I was going to go shopping but not with the way I'm feeling.

Erica- my DH is a bargain shopper! I have a really hard time looking at prices. Also if I shop I usually come home with junk and DH will ask " How about dinner???" Can't he just eat the chips! LOL

Bridgette-- Yum, sounds like a great way to start the day!! I'm making stew  for tonight. DH doesn't know the first thing about cooking, so at the end of a long day of cooking, I get to come home and cook so more, yay, lol! Good luck on your exam today sweetie!! :D
Lori-- LOL! DH says I spend too much money too! We have to shop together, Other wise he'd only get all the super cheap stuff and I'd only get the super expensive stuff, so now we have a fun time arguing in the grocery store...lol! Groceries are always a hot button subject in our house!

I hope DH gets back with the new couch soon....I can't wait!! I really wish we had an IKEA here though, so they could just have delivered it straight to us instead of having to ship it all to the ordering address (my parents got a new couch too and my aunt got a new bed). This is getting too complicated!!

So talk about being sweet.  When I got up and turned the computer on this morning, I mentioned to DH how great dinner was last night (steak and potatoes) and how I wished we had leftovers.

Well he just handed me a plate of potatoes, eggs, steak, and toast!

Lori - DH does all the shopping because I am clueless!  I always say that I can't even boil water - LOL.  I wouldn't have the first idea as to what he cooks with.  He makes all the little purchases for the house.  I make all the bigs one - like the cars and the house :)  I'm really good at spending a HUGE chunk of money all at once, but for the life of me I nickel and dime over the smallest of things.

Dani and AP-- Do you LOVE your flowers? I really do love the randomness of him gifts. Like flowers on a Tuesday, just because...It's so sweet!!
DH and my BIL are taking the old couch to Value Village. Hopefully someone will want it there. It's got really good bones and would be great for reupholstering but it would cost more than a new couch to do that. Since mom was willing to buy me a new one, I couldn't say no.  She's now mad that I'm not going over to get the couch with the boys. Arrgh!! I can't win!!
AP-- I'm doing well. I really hope this "relaxation" helps to shorten the lenght of my cycles so it will be a little easier to ttc. Hopefully all  the BDing we've been doing lately helps get a BFP soon, but I'm not too optimistic  How are you feeling? Everything going well? :D

Erica - I agree, any time they show they are actually listening is special.  My DH buys all my "bathroom" products since he does all the grocery shopping.  If I run out and need to get something for myself, I have to ask him what I use - LOL

Natalie & Dana - I can't wait to hear how it went last night.  You really just need to take the plunge and it is like riding a bike - VROOM VROOM

I have to take an exam today, so I'm just going to post and run.  I'll do the new CB thread later.  I really hate to let this one go, considering the number of posts - but I'm itching to get Brandy on the bottom of the preggers list!!

Erica- Aww don't you love how considerate they can be. It is so sweet. My dh and I were driving the other day and he whipped the car over I'm like omg is somthing wrong he said No I want to buy you roses. It was a guy on the corner sitting there selling beautiful roses. I love when they are romantic and sweet. How are you doing?

Speaking of couches, I'm supposed to go looking today. I have so much that I want to do to my house, but everything is so expensive!!

Erica- That was sweet. I love it when DH does little things like that...it means just as much as if he were to bring me a big gift. I know what you mean about the couches along with the insult. I get that from my MIL.
