Welcome.  You don't have to be the oddball since we're all still kind of guessing when AF will come.  Any chance of a BFP???

Cycle buddies:
  I resisted the temptation to test this morning.  I am trying to hold off until Saturday or Sunday.  DH laughed at me last night when I told him I tested yesterday.  He said it was WAY too early and just be patient.  What do guys know :)  So when is everyone else testing?  I want to be able to celebrate or comiserate with everyone!!!

I was too busy to get online yesterday, but I took a HPT...I got a BFN. I should have tied my hands behind my back when I woke up because I only had a cheap test that doesn't pick up until 100!! I just couldn't resist...lol Now I have to go buy another one and test again probably on Saturday. Patience is not my strong point :D I will be happy just to see that any of us finally gets a BFP! Then spreads that baby dust around...lol

I too couldn't help myself and had to test last night.  Of course BFN.  I'm kicking myself for not waiting till this morning at least.  I did get a HPT, with 3 tests, knowing that I will test again on Monday, when AF is due and if it's still BFN, I'll do it again on Wednesday.  After that I'll have to give up hope.

I finally admitted to DH last night that I had been testing.  I have hidden the 2 tests that I did take, waiting for the chance to sneak them in the garbage.  (DH does all the cooking so he'd be sure to spot right away).  Anyway, to my amasement he just gave me an amused look and shook his head.  I guess he's just as anxious as me to get the BFP, but it's like pulling teeth to get an emotion out of that man!!

Im sitting here laughing at how everyone else is just like me and just cant resist testing early and maybe even hiding there tests from there DH. If i have a test in the house then im going to test early. My Dh found out that i found the ones he hid because I acidently left the wrap by the toilet. At least all he did was ask with hope what the result was. so many times today i thought AF had arrived... some mild cramps and all that... but still nothing. If I don't get anything in a few days them im sure to give in and go get another three pack.

I swear I have a metallic taste in my mouth, which I have heard is pg sign.  Am I just imagining this 'cause I want it SO bad?  I don't think I've ever had such an excruiting TWW.  It's so much different now that I know we can get pg.

I heard that as well but i had a bad sweet after taste every time I ate rather than the metallic taste.

This waiting is so hard.  Last time I got my BFP, I wasn't expecting it, since we TTC for 2 years.  We had given up hope.  I didn't even track my symptoms.  I know I was really tired.  I 'm still tired, but I don't know if it's cause I'm pg or the fact that I have a full time job and have just gone back to college part time.  My classes are killing me, I work and study that is my life.  The one thing that I noticed tonight, is that my dog is attached to me.  He won't leave me alone.  I wonder if he knows something is up.  He was like this the last time.  He's normally a lap dog, but this is getting silly.  I can't get him off me.

I can see why you could be tired with work and school. Its even harder to get through the TWW when you feel you are having symptoms. I wish I could make time go faster for you till POAS!

I saw a post somewhere else where a woman asked if animals could tell when you are pregnant.  There were a lot of responses.  They all said that their cats and dogs would be attached to them before they even knew they were pregnant! And one lady even said that her cat would be like that even if she was just ovulating...So it seems that they know something! I hope that your dog knows something that you don't ...lol

Thanks nunu!  I laid in bed this morning debating the pros and cons of POAS.  I didn't do it.  I keep telling myself patience.  Of course that's not to say I won't change my mind and do it when I get home from work :)

If I use reverse psychology on you and say "I bet you can't wait!!!" will it work and make you determined to wait till at last AF is due????? are you due for AF on the 13th?

Hopefully all these are good signs and we can all be excited when you get a BFP.  Let's see who's going to be first.  I'm trying to wait until tomorrow morning, but I too laid in bed this morning thinking about it.  I can usually resist during the day, but the morning is the worst.  I'm not even due until at least next Wednesday. I had a kind of weird thing happen, so I'm not even sure when AF will come.  When I used an OPK last Thursday, it was positive.  I did it again on Friday just to see, and it was positive again.  One more try on Saturday and still positive.  Going out of my mind trying to figure out what's wrong with me, then negative on Sunday.  I have read that can be normal, but I am still not sure when I actually ovulated.  I HATE WAITING GRRR!!!  I hope someone gets their BFP so I can be happy for them!!!

did you test at the same time of the day with all the tests? that happened with me also. i tested in the afternoon for I think three days and got positives and then in the morning was negative.
I used only that one kit though. Ill see what happens if i end up needing to use one again.
I want someone to get a BFP too just so I can be happy for someone even if its not myself just yet!

I'm past the point of reverse psychology.  I've lost all sense of reasonableness.  After all, I'm asking my dog if I'm pg LOL!!  I even had a dream the other night that one of my co-workers told me I was.  Which may sound odd, but I have had dreams in the past that come true.  I dreamt that a girl in our office was pg and the next day I told her that, it turns out a few weeks later she found out she was.

Yep, AF is due on Monday, the 13th.  My DH and I have our 4 year anniversary on Tues.  Wine or no wine . . .

I had to laugh about you asking your dog if you were pregnant!

My friend had a dream about 108 months before i got pregnant.. even before i started trying that i was going to have twins and I ended up getting pregnant with twins. I pray that i do agian but can carry them full term this time!

I wish all of you the best of luck with your tests.  Someone has to get that BFP!!!  It just stands to reason that one of us will be lucky!  Hey isn't there ANYONE out there who is going to be going through the TWW with me!  You guys are all the ones in the same boat as me, but our cycles are off!  i need some POAS buddies!  I ovulate around tomorrow and I was already checking to see if any preg tests were on sale...even though I have three still in my house...THREE...that just wont do!!  lol  (i may need to start buying them in bulk)  My husband was laughing last time when I was preg. becuase I got two tests...then went out and got the one that said "pregnant" or "not pregnant"  like two lines werent enough.  My dr said so many women buy like 6 tests when it comes up positive!  We figured the makers of those things make a whole lot of money from crazy people like us :)

Well, Crud!  I'm out, AF came 2 days early!  But here's how my afternoon went, just to amuse you.

I was so proud I didn't POAS this morning, but by afternoon I couldn't wait for the clock to turn 5:00.  I made sure that I didn't go potty this afternoon and didn't drink any fluids so as not to dilute.  I was dead set I was going home to POAS.  Then right around 4:00, I thought uh oh, something may be going on.  But I wasn't sure and I didn't want to go check, 'cause then I would have to pee and would ruin chances of the HPT tonight.  I rushed right home and to my relief DH isn't home from work yet, so won't know I tested.  I was going into the bathroom and I remembered someone posting who forgot to look before POAS, when they had AF anyway.  So I checked and yep there she was.  I even hesitated for a minute and thought of POAS anyway (you know . . . just in case).  Reason grabbed hold of me and now it's safely tucked back away in my sock drawer.

I hope someone else is luckier then I this month.  SSBD to you all :)

Sorry AF had to come...but at guess that is at least 2 days of not having to wonder.  I always wish that if i am not preg then AF will come early, thus less suspense and hopefully ovulation earlier!!  
(But i must say, I did POAS last month eventhough I got AF, only because it wasnt REALLY heavy, and everyone in my family says they had almost an actual period every single month they were pregnant.  It sounds weird, but back then women didn't worry so much like we do.  i mean, imagine having a baby without having any ultrasounds!  Sometimes I wish i didn't know so much!
Good luck next month bam...sorry AF came..it gets depressing each month.  But what holds us together is being able to post here and know that we all know what you are feeling!
