ADVICE PLEASE??!!

i had a sanogram and me and my fiance saw the fetus sac,,with alittle dot in it,,im asuming it was the baby,,well on March 20,2010 i had a miscarrage and on the 22 i had a D&C,, i continued to bleed for 1 week and 1 day,,my fiance and i recently had sex on the march31,april1and2, and the 4th,,we really want a preg again,,so my question is can i already be preg without having my period or what?? im lost

If you had a D&C on the 22 March then your first period should come around 4-5 weeks after - this varies enormously though, for instance I'm 12 weeks post D&C and still haven't had a proper period.  It is unlikely though not impossible for you to get pregnant without having that first period.  From experience I now see why it is advised to wait until you have had at least one proper cycle before trying to conceive.  It cuts out all the "am I aren't I" and also gives you an LMP date to go from.  I wish I'd heeded those words as I have been in the "ami or aren't i" camp for the last 8 weeks :(

Some Drs use the date of the D&C as your LMP so if you were lucky enough to get pregnant so soon, this is the date they would use to work out your gestation.
