Am I Having A Miscarriage?

The first day of my last period was 3/1/10. I had a couple dizzy spells last wk but I didn't think anything of it until 3/29/10. That night I started having horrible abdominal pain and when I sat on the toilet and pushed bright red blood started dripping. The cramping pain was pretty intense. The cramping stopped after a full day but the blood is really bright red and heavy, but my period was also due to come between the 29th and the 1st. Could this be a miscarriage or just a bad period?

it could be a chemical m/c i had one last month a home pg test wont pick it up but a blood hcg level will

It is really hard to say. Did you take a hpt? You could also have your blood drawn it could give you an idea. I would give your dr a call and let them know the pain you experienced. Cramps are one thing but you explained some pretty severe cramping and some heavy bleeding. It is better to be safe than sorry. I wish I could be more help. Good luck and let me know what happens.
