Empty sac but test still says positive!!

Please help. I have had an early scan due to bleeding and have been told that i only have an empty sac.
I have tried to come to terms with what i have been told but couldnt help but do another test, which still says positive, would a test still say positive even if i only have an empty sac??
I am still bleeding but still have morning sickness, i am so confused!!!

Sorry you are having to go thru this.  The test will still be positive as long as there is HCG in your system and it can stay in your system for a while even when the pregnancy is failing.  You can also still have pregnancy symptoms bc they are from the hormones.  But I'd certainly ask for another scan and get your levels checked.  It could be that you are too early to see anything.I hope it works out for you.

sorry you going through this....How far along are you ? the test would still be positive because you still have HCG in your body....could it be that you arent that far along?

Try and stay positive until you know beyond a shadow of a doubt....did they schedule another scan?
