Hi I also had an ectopic preg...I had my period for 3 days then spotted for 2 weeks then I started getting abdominal pain on my right side. I ended up going to the docs I then had a urine test came back positive then referal for an ultrasound and blood tests...I went and had my u/s they didn't see anything so that day they did the internal u/s and I was then diagnosed with an ectopic at 7 weeks I then went to docs straight away he did up a referal for the hospital I went in that day straight into surgery...I lost my right tube...I hope all goes well and they find out whats wrong asap last thing u would want is to loose the tube aswell....although they said to me I will most likely have a normal pregnancy next time I still have to be on high alert..It's been 2 months now from surgery and it still hurts everyday. I would keep a close eye on everything and if u have to go straight to hospital. Hope all goes well
Thanks I am a little confused about the whole pregnancy.
I went back and had another blood test the level's raised from 19 to 87 in 4-5 day's the doctor said she was expecting more. Went for an ultra sound today the sack was not sighted she asked if she could do an internal that she would be able to see but the internal showed nothing.
Back to the doctor tomorrow pain has settled feeling more sick now and extremely tired
Sounds like ectopic to me too. I have had 4 with a possible 5th right now. Don't ever give up. I met a lady in the hospital who was in her 70's and she told me to never give up. She had nine tubals before getting her precious little one.
Sounds like an ectopic to me - I've had 2.
I also experienced an ectopic. I went to the hospital because I was spotting a bit and feeling dizzy, I had an u/s and was sent home with a threatening m/c. Two days later I was so sick that I could hardly get out of bed, I was taken to the hospital where they did b/w and and a vaginal u/s which showed the ectopic. I was taken to surgery and a few minutes into it my tube ruptured and had to be removed, I guess you can say I was in the right place at the right time. My best advice is to not wait, an ectopic can be deadly if not taken care of ASAP. I wish you the best and please keep us updated. Lori
Hi I have experienced an ectopic unfortunately for me i had no signs right up until the day i was rushed to hospital and my tube had ruptured. i woke up one morning with the worst lower ab pain and then the shoulder tip pain every now and then i called an ambulence, when i arrived at hospital they thought it was my appendix, they took my up on to the maternity ward wehre the doctors said she thought i was having an ectopic, andyways after collapsing twice they rushed me into surgeory i was bleeding internally and lost 45% of my bodies blood resulting in 3 blood transfusions, and i had to have my right tube removed, i was mortified and still am a year and 3 months on. i would strongly suggest that if they suspect a ectopic you have it properly looked into because if you dont and you lose a tube and then you will have a harder time of falling pregnant again as your chances are reduced. I wish that i had some kind of sign to let me knopw what wasx happening instead i had to almost die to realise what was happening, i f hadnt of arrived at hospital when i did the doc told me an hour later i would of been dead! my thought are with you as i know this is a tough situatatiion to be in . good luck xx
I'm so sorry for your loss, I do not have personal experience with eptopic pg. I just wanted you to know I'm here if you need to talk. Let me know what happens. Best wishes to you.
