I bought the monitor at Early pregnancy test.com and paid 200 for the monitor and 30 test strips. It detects two types of hormones which gives you five fertile days and since it detects both hormones I assume that it is more accurate. The refill test strips are 30 dollars, and they last 3 months. Also it monitors your cycle and is kinda a computer with your days. Since I did get pregnant I'm assuming it thinks I had a 50 day cycle, and I'm on day 19 still with low fertility, but before the miscarriage I was on clomid. I was hoping that I would be able to ovulate and be regular after the miscarriage. I am a teacher and had a really tough year with the kids, so I assumed that was the reason I was having trouble ovulating. Baby dust to all!
I'm glad your monitor worked for you! MINE stinks :( But I did get PG, my RE had me double up with OPK, I got PG when my monitor was reading me at LOW! Crazy huh, but ovulation was all confirmed with U/S! My RE said he had a lot of patients lately having problems with it, he thinks it might of been a bad batch of strips, but he said he also highly recomended it! We had been ttc for 5 yrs, we had a M/C July 07, and finally we are PG again, 10 weeks now! Don't give up ladies!!
I'm very sorry for your loss. We all do a little grieving here, more so then we can do in our normal lives. It so helps to post, when you just don't feel anybody else will understand.
How much did the fertility monitor cost and what does it do?
ps. we have alot of people here tracking their cycles in hopes of another BFP, please feel free to join us in your journey. The more the merrier :)
