Fertility after recurrent miscarriages!

I have had 2 recurrent miscarriages last year and both were one after another. We saw my gynaecologists and asked if there was something wrong with me but every time they said I was perfectly fine and healthy and advised me to get my husband's sperms checked. I am divorced now but yet I wonder will I ever be a mother again? Can I have a successful pregnancy anymore? I have given up the idea of getting married again because what I went through was devastating for me. Will I ever have a baby of my own?

I am so sorry about ur losses. I also experienced 2 miscarriages in a row last year. It was a very painful experience for me.

The tests to get done would be:

Blood clotting tests. This is tested by having a blood test.

Progesterone blood test, this need to be done 7 days before your period.

I would also suggest thay you get ur thyriod check too, via a blood test.

Get theses tests done now, so when u fall pregnant you will be well prepared.

Wish you luck with ur next pregnancy.

Love Rachel x

I had two back to back miscarriages before having a successful pregnancy. For me it was that my body couldnt produce enough progesterone to get past the first trimester. Fortunately on my third pregnancy i was given progesterone supplements and my son was born healthy.
Unfortunately many of tests they can do to find out if someone can carry a baby are not available until you have had three miscarriages.

I don't have a problem getting pregnant either.  My problem is STAYING pregnant.  I had a lot of coagulation and antibody tests done.  If you just want to get an idea of if there IS something wrong, contact a hematologist or rheumatologist for some blood testing.  Nothing wrong with finding out early!

Thank you dear for your comment. I am not planning for any pregnancy right now but I just wanted to clear my head because the thought just keeps giving me whiplash that I may lose another pregnancy like I did before. This is the reason I am not looking for a relationship either. What kind of tests do you think can determine if there was something wrong with me?

My gynaecologist took many tests of my uterus and ovaries and many ultra sounds. They said I have no difficult in getting pregnant and I can be pregnant again and have a successful pregnancy. I don't know what to do.

I'm so sorry for your losses.  A lot of us here on MH have been through them, and we are here to help support each other.  I myself have had 3 losses, 2 back to back in the last few months.  Have you had any testing to confirm that you are "perfectly fine and healthy"?  I was told the same thing, so I started doing my own research, went back to my doctor and asked for several tests that she said I didn't need.  I insisted on having the testing, and she agreed - and when the results came back, it was positive for an auto-immune disorder, so now we have a plan to start blood thinners as soon as another pregnancy is confirmed.  Just know that if you want it, you WILL have it.  There are plenty of women on here that are single moms by choice - and opt for donor sperm IUI or IVF procedures.  Best of luck to you dear, and if you need any support - let any of us know!
