HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok my LMP was march 11, 2010. i took a hpt on april 7, 2010. it showed positive. later that evening i started to spot. i visited my obgyn on april 8th, 2010 and had blood work my HCG level was 20 which they considered very low and said i was miscarrying the baby which would make my second miscarriage. on april 12th i went back to my doctor for another blood test and my HCG level was 23. so it had in fact pretty much stayed the same, NOT DROPPED! the doctors are confused themselves. i am still bleeding since april 7th but my levels are low...is my baby ok? HELP PLEASE!!!

Hi I'm sorry for your previous loss. Also Congrats on your BFP. According to your LMP you're about 5 weeks. I was reading on hCG and found this piece of info 5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml this is  about how much your hCG should be so your in between these guidelines. Did they do an ultrasound? Did they give you an approximate on how many weeks you are? You should have them check your progesterone levels to make sure they aren't low. As for the bleeding is it old/brown blood or is it red? Are you having cramps with the bleeding? Sometimes bleeding can be an indicator of miscarriage, but not always. Try to stay as relaxed as possible and keep positive. You're still very early and your hCG could still be rising. Are they continuing to check you or did they say wait for miscarriage? God Bless I will keep you in my prayers.
