Ibuprofen and risk for ovulation problems and m/c

I was just doing some research online and came across lots of info that states ibuprofen can delay ovulation and even make you not ovulate at all! I never heard this before! I have only heard to not take it during pregnacy. It also said that it can increase risk for early m/c. My concern is that I had m/c Nov 9 and have had 2 periods since then with really bad cramping, so I have been taking 800mg of ibuprofen for the past 3 months almost! I dont take it every single day, but for the past few weeks I have been taking it every day because of bad headaches and cramps from this AF. I also took 2 today. I definitely am NOT going to take any more. I am on CD11 now but am still spotting from AF. I just hope I don't have problems ovulating this cycle, and especially nervous about increased risk for another m/c. Has anyone else heard this? If I stop the ibuprofen now, should it be out of my system in time? Thanks!

For the 7 months I was ttc I stuck to the theroy of "treating my body as if I were pregnant"  It was really getting old by the end, but it was nice to know that when I got my bfp there was nothing I could look back on and wish I had done differently.  But, the ibuprofen you have been taking shouldn't stay in you too long, but I am glad you found out about it delaying O, I had never heard of that.  Best of luck to you :)

Thanks for the reply. I took some ibuprofen yesterday (before reading all this info about it) but I am definitely NOT going to take any more from now on. I just got paranoid because I've been taking it for the past few months now because of the m/c and my cycles were so painful so I'm just hoping its not too much that my uterus is thinned out now.

I am very sure it will be out of your system by the time you O. When it is close to Oing I hate to take anything. I never take ibuprofen or anything that could be harmful to a baby from O till I get AF.
Another thing you need to watch with Ibuprofen is taking too much over time and causing an ulcer in your stomach. not something you want when you get pregnant... it will just cause more worry to thing you are going to M/C if you do get preggers.
