worry wart?

I have had a mc before, that was about 4 years ago & I was 12weeks along.  We have 2 beautiful healthy children now & I feel blessed to have them.  As does every woman, I know my body, so when my cycle was late by 1 day I took an ept, came out postive, shocked, but delighted.  As w/ my other 2 children, I was sick as a dog f/ the entire 9 months.  I was sick w/ this pregnancy for about 2 days, throwing up etc...but all of a sudden, I feel fine.  No other symtoms of a mc, but I was just wondering if anyone could give me some hope and/or advice.  Thanks for listening to me ramble.

Hi Michelle

My prayers go out to you and your DH. I was in the same mindset as you. 2 wks ago I had my 1st sonogram at 7w3d, and I measured 5w5d. I KNEW immediately it was over. So at my 2nd sonogram a week later, a m/c was confirmed, but I had totally prepared myself mentally a week prior, so it was as bad.

Two days ago I had my very first D&E, and this is my 3rd m/c. Since I started passing everything naturally with my first 2 m/c's, my DR's swayed away from a D&C or a D&E. This time I had no spotting or cramping, so a D&E was suggested. Plus, they wanted to scrape some tissue to be analyzed. Monday I was pretty nervous about my uterus being poked and vacuumed out, but it ended up being a really easy experience, and I have had practically no bleeding or cramping after. My 1st 2 m/c's it took a week to pass everything, and honestly, seeing tissue in the toilet wasn't the easiest experience. I think if I wasn't already bleeding, I mght have opted for a D&E back then.

If ya'll want another baby, don't give up. We'll be going on our 4th time TTC in a couple months, and although TODAY I am an emotional mess, my faith is keeping me strong. If you have faith that you will be blessed with a beautiful baby, I believe it will happen.

I will be praying for you.

Hello ladies...I did finally get to my ob & as I was already expecting, I did miscarry.  I am very sad about it, but at the same time, I think I already had a mindset that I would be miscarrying, since my body had told me early on.  I was about 6 weeks & once again my dr did not do a d&c, does this sound weird to anyone?  I didn't have one w/ my first m/c either & everyone I seem to talk to most always has a d&c no matter how far long they are.  Thank you for your support & Sharon thank you for your prayers.  My husband & I decided not to try again.  I don't know if we could go thru this again.
