Your doctors need to do more testing. ANA is a very non specific blood test. about 5 percent of the population is positive for this and has no illness. ANA can indicate and autoimmune diseases such as lupus. Did you have future blood test done along with this? Just because you are positive does mean you will have trouble staying pregnant. They need to figure out WHY the ana is positive so they can treat whatever it may be but, it may be nothing at all.
I have lost three babies. My son was born at 20 weeks and died 22 minutes later, i miscarried with my second and with my third my daughter was still born.
I also had this ANA test along with many many other tests for lupus and APS (Antiphospholipid syndrome) Which you may want to look into and request if you have not had it yet. The APS Can make you miscarry if not treated. My ANA was positive 9 months ago, but everything else was negative. Now after seeing doctor after doctor and many specialist my ANA is negative. It is important to remember that having a positive ANA blood test does not mean there is anything wrong with your or you can't have a baby. It is simply an indication that you may have an illness but simple infections can cause this test to be positive too. It is very tricky which is why follow up blood work should be done as a follow up.
I lost my first baby in 2008. His second birthday was October 10th and I STILL have not found answers. Unfortunately with pregnancy loss a lot of times you find no answers.
How far a long were you with your miscarriages? As this makes a bit of a difference in what the major problem could be.
I have not had this happen to me and am sorry this is happening to u. Does this have to do with your blood type? what blood type are. I am posted a question about blood type because i am concerned that i am O. I have read that this caused antibodies to build up and hurt the embro. See the antibodies in your post made me have to ask. if that is the case u can get shots to help.
