thanks, you guys, and Cacy I'm sorry to hear about your m/c. I had to move my appointment to next week so I'll see what's going on then. I keep getting scared that my last pregnancy was my last egg you know?, hahaha . I keep thinking the doctor is going to tell me I've started menopause because my last egg was the one I had the m/c with. I know , I know, but that's what I keep thinking, hahahahaha.
I bought the clear blue easy fertility monitor. It was 200 dollars on earlypregnancytests.com and came with 30 sticks. I guess I wasn't using the OPK correctly, or I couldn't get a good reading with the lines so I bought the monitor and got pregnant the first time. Unfortunatly it ended in a m/c :(
Please let us know how your dr appt goes today. If you got a BFN, then I would assume that your levels went back to normal.
Good luck!
no I didn't because when they did the ultrasound everything was clear, but I guess I could ask him to do that. I also took a pregnancy test the week after the M/C and it was negative so that let me know too that there was no HCG left
A m/c can seriously throw a woman's cycle out of wack, so I don't think that you can accurately predict when to see AF. My cycle went back to normal immediately, but there are other people who have had some problems with AF starting back up. It's probably best to check with your dr. Have you been getting your HCG tested to make sure the levels went down to 0?
my cycle hasn't come yet and i was wondering if it will be awhile before I see it. I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow, but shouldn't I be seeing a period by now?
Sorry for your loss. I know what your going through i had 4 miscarriages and an Ectopic pregnancy which was recently. I have one 5 yr.old boy. I would call your doc and ask, usually after a miscarriage your supposed to wait one cycle to TTC again.
ok thanks for the info.
I'm not even sure if I should be ovulating so soon after a miscarriage. I miscarried on October 6th. Maybe it's too soon to be checking. I haven't had a period since then, but I have been active with my husband, so I don't know if I should be checking
You could try going to peeonastick.com. I know there is info there about OPK's. Also, last week I put out a post on OPK's 101. It's everything that I have found about them, but I haven't done any research on specific brands.
If you don't mind spending a couple hundred dollars, you can get a fertility monitor. It's more computerized then the sticks. I don't have one, but I know that CacyMichelle does and swears by it.
Good luck :)
