Misdiagnosed

I was told in August that my pregnancy was not viable. I choose to have a natural miscarriage. I have had no bleeding or cramping and did not have a period in September. I did have an ultrasound in August and they saw a sac. I now have what you would call a "baby bump." I did not have it last month even though I did gain weight with the beginning of my pregnancy. Is there a chance the doctors were wrong and I am still pregnant and will be having a healthy baby in March (when I was told I would be due when the doctors thought I was pregnant). HELP!!! I am so confused and I don't know what to do. I have not gone back to the doctor since they said the pregnancy was not viable and I don't really want them to do another ultrasound. I did not like the woman did the first was not paying attention and not very helpful. I have bad insurance and the only place I can do to is a clinic. I don't want to go to another clinic. I would prefer a private doctor, one who would be performing everything (checkups, ultrasounds, delivery). Any HELP would be greatly appreciated. Also pregnancy tests keep coming out positive. Thanks for your time and help.

THIS long and you haven't bled?  Call the doctor.  If they saw in the sac in August, you were at LEAST 4 or 5 weeks along at that time, you never see the sac earlier then that, and now we're into October.

I had a scan done last week and the saw nothing but the SAC itself, 5 days later, they found my baby! Granted, it has no heartbeat that they have listed nor is it moving.. but going from one to other in that short a time, I have also refused the D&C or medicine.

I understand how you feel. I also recently had Intrauterine Fetal Death ( baby died inside my womb) at 22 weeks. I'ts hard... but I urge you to go back to your Dr and let them have another US to clear your doubts. US is the best way to know. Don't wait bec.(  God forbids that your baby is not really viable) if that's the case you are risking your body to be poisoned. I understand it's been  more than a month since your last check-up. Hope for the best but also prepare for the worst.

I would definitely recommend going to the doctor again.  I know that the US techs are not always very helpful, but you need to see if you still have a baby that is alive and healthy.  Why did they tell you that the pregnancy was not viable?  How far along were you?  Doctors can make mistakes.  Not to discourage you, but I never stopped feeling pregnant or losing my pregnancy symptoms until I had a D&C.  My HCG levels never dropped even after the baby stopped developing and there was no longer a heartbeat.  I know you want to hope, but don't set your self up for more difficulty when you try to conceive again.  I am sorry for your situation, and keep us posted.
