Missed miscarriage

Hello,
I just had a missed miscarriage which started on Saturday morning. It amazes me it started right after the first ultrasound on Friday where no heart been was detected. I was 13 weeks and 4 days. The fetus died around week 8/9. It started spontaneously followed by period cramps of about 8 hours, followed by labour pain for about 7 hours, every 2 minutes severe pain. I called an ambulance because I couldn't cope anymore. I was admited to the hospital where I was examined and given medical treatment. One vaginal, 6 oral pills. I had a scan confirming the pregnancy has passed all together with the embryo and placenta. I stayed over night and came back home yesterday. I was about to change my pad when I saw something on it. It freaked me out so in panic I threw it to the bin on the pad. But I couldn't leave it there so I opened it and started examining what it could be. After they told me I passed all, how could I find a tissue of brownish/greyish colour with 2 black dots either side? I e mailed the images to the hospital for them to see because when I rushed there yesterday night I was told to wait for the doctor for about 3 hours. I didn't sleep for 2 nights and I couldn't cope anymore with exhaustion. Would there be a way to attach the photos here so someone could help me identify it?

Thank you very much for your reply. I am really confused. Confused the sonographer clearly confirmed to me offering me to look at the screen that I passed everything, apart from some small tissues. I don't understand how could she possibly not see....That is just strange! And I am still confused as to how to attach the photo...:-( I don't see any option to attach a photo. Would you be able to send a screen shot of what you see regarding the photos...That would be much appreciated.

I think you should be able to attach a picture if you try to make a post again. I've seen other women do that as well. They were told they passed everything, and then a few days later, they actually pass the baby :(
