I had a miscarriage on April 12th (carried 15w2d although baby only measured 11w2d).  It took 7 weeks for my HcG levels to "zero" out (had blood tests done once a week).  A week later (so 8 weeks post D&C) I had my period.  However, prior to that I had two other times of bleeding.  One lasted only 3 days and was very light and dark brown.  The other lasted one day and was medium red.  My "real" period was very heavy and lasted a week (although no cramping).  My doctor told me that the other two times were most likely Anovulatory Bleeding, which is basically random uterine bleeding with no ovulation.  Everyone's body is different though.

My period started on May 28th and I just found out yesterday that I'm pregnant again.  I have found that First Response tests (with the lines) and First Response Digitals are the best at predicting early pregnancy.  I just got a "pregnant" on a Clear Blue Easy Digital a whole day after First Response picked it up.

Good luck to you.  Give your body time to heal and adjust.  And I'm very sorry about your loss.  Hugs.

u still could be pregnant,i had no symptoms at all of even being pregnant. i only found out i was by chance, i was given a course of tablets to take and as a precaution i had to do a pt and it came out positive,  my doctor also told me it is true with some people that they are actually more fertile straight after a m/c, but again this is only with some people, me and my husband are ttc again so im hoping i am one of those people that are more fertile, but if u are really worried i would see your gp if anything to put your mind at rest xxxhope i helped x

hi everyone is different and their cycles, i had a m/c 12th june and was only 4 1/2 weeks pregnant, my doctor told me it depends on the individual, and sometimes the further u are along when u m/c the longer it takes for ur periods to come back, also with my m/c i had no pain what so ever and only bled really really lightly for just 3 days, i found this very odd,.how far gone were u when u m/c ??? and is there a possibility you could be pregnant again? if so the blood ur seeing could just be pregnancy spotting???
