Possible Threatened MIscarraige..Scared :(

I was diagnosed with a threatened miscarraige about 2 days ago. I am really scared. I have had an abortion before about 2 years ago. My fiance and I have been ttc and my last period was Nov. 30th but that was also the last day of me taking an active birth control pill.. It was the end of the pack. I had no ultrasound done when i went to the emergeny room because they told me my levels were still too low at only 47 hcg. I had started light pink spotting on saturday. Tuesday is when i had the constant bleeding of bright red blood. My cervix was still closed at the hospital.  I go back to hospital tomorrow to check my hcg levels again. Yesterday i passed 3 nickel sized clots. But i haven't had any cramps or anything like that. Have anyone ever gone through this and had a regular pregnancy????

im 2 month pregnant today, had my first scan at 5and half weeks and everything was fine,heart beat even present!!shocker!! then the tuesday came and i started to bleed the a and e got me an appointment for the thrusday and found that i had an irregular shaped sac but the heart beat was there, told me i cud be having a threatened misscarriage, so scared

I too had no cramps light brown spotting since last sat 2 test sed postive went to dr on the Monday had hcg of 94 than I had light red blood than went bright red went to the ER had another test came back neg n more test n my hcg levles had dropted to 42 In  The matter of days my ctevix wer also closed my dr told me nothing to worrie about untill the scane showed nothing this was just on Friday the 22nd but mc on the 12st of jan so as every 1 is diff to be safe get it checked

im so sorry, i still dont no wots going on with me, i was told i could be having a missed miscarraige, got to wait till thrusday, im terrified :'( x

I am so sorry to here that!!! I definitely know what u are going through. My prayers are with u!! (((HUGS))) When I went to the Dr on friday my levels were only 8!!! And to this day i am still having mornring sickness, fatigue, bbs soreness & gas. I still never passed anything.

well i went back to doctor..they told me that my hcg went down to 31 and i'm having a missed miscarraige/ inevitable abortion..

Have hope dear!!! i was sooo scared. Finally today all my bleeding has stopped and I see my obgyn tomorrow to check my levels again. Please let me know how your levels are doing!

I am glad to here that ur numbers are rising!! I am almost in the same boat. I found out I was pregnant last Sat. only to wake up to spotting not heavy but it was red and only when i wiped. I went to the er and they also said it was a possible threatened m/c. My hcg levels were also 47.9. i went to my normal dr. on wed and they did not want to do an internal u/s because they did not want to disturb anything going on down there, so i had blood work done and again on fri. I finaly get the results back tom and if the numbers are rising they will do an u/s. Although i have had 2 m/c last year so i am anervous wreck!!! So hearing your story gives me hope!!! This is my update::
Went to doctor yesterday. It felt like it was forever trying to get an answer about what was going on. Finally the doctor told me that the blood was very minimal and that my hcg levels did double like a normal pregnancy, but if i had any pain to come back immediately. I have another obgyn appt on tuesday to follow up on everything. Hopefully everything works out..it's scary and nerve racking!!

hi iam 6 and a half weeks pregnant, last week i had some brown discharge so i had a scan and they said everything was fine.. heartbeat etc... then on tuesday i passed fresh blood only spotting, went to the hospital and they booked me in for a scan, so yesterday morning i had my scan baby was there and heart is beating however my pregnancy sack is irregular shaped, then lastnight i passed brown blood and clots but everything is still fine up to now except the shape of my sack. this is my first pregnancy.. my baby is fighting to survive my collasping sack.. i pray for a miracle. i hope everything turns out ok for you x

well im sorry you are goin thru this. i wanted to giv you a little bit of hope that it could be a torn placenta that isnt good but its better news than a micarriage. i had a torn placenta back in 2003 had to be on complete bed rest. my situation turned bad tho when i went into labor at 23 weeks only to find out i had an infection on the linning of my uterus. i was bleeding & passing large clots. Maybe thats all it is?? i wish you luck & hope evrything turns out ok. nobody deserves to go thru a miscarriage. keep me posted.

I'm so sorry your going through that.  Do you have a history of blood clotting?  Some dr's will suggest baby aspirin to help prevent blood clots, I suggest you call your dr and ask if he feels you should and how much (since your passing blood clots, it sounds like it could be an issue).

Your levels being so low make it sound like your just really early in the pregnancy, Maybe you ovulated late and that's why the numbers are low?  You really can't tell much until you get another reading to see if they are going up.

When I had my miscarriage I didn't have any cramps.  I was 11 weeks when I had some pink when I wiped, I could have been wearing white undies and had no blood on them, that's how little it was.  I only went in because I'm RH negative and needed a shot,  They found out that the baby was only 6 1/2 weeks.  When I had the exam, I too had a closed Cervix, and that is a very good sign.  

Try to hold onto the positives until you hear otherwise.  Your cervix is closed, you don't have cramping.
