Pregnancy after miscarrage

Hi

I had a DNC done on the 13th March 2010, six weeks has past an almost on my seventh week an my periods has not come as yet, is there a possibility that i am pregnant?
I spoke to my doctor an he told me give it a week again, is this advisable or should i change doctor!!!!

Help me please i just don't want to have another miscarrage!!!

HI hunn.....I just read your post and i thought i should tell you...I took my IUD out sometime at the beginning April of 2008...I got pregnant and found out around may 10th 2008, we were excited as we were trying to consieve...Sadly 1 week after i found out i started bleeding and i miscarried..My dr told me it may take a while for me to get pregnant again..Towards the end of june i found out i was pregnant again.And that i was almost 4 weeks along already...Once they added every thing up they found i had gotten pregnant almost one week after i miscarried..I have been told that the biggest time to get pregnant again is almost right after a miscarriage....I think you should deff take a tet..There is a high chance that you could be.I am very sorry for your loss....i know how it can feel especially when it is something that you want so bad..I give you my best wishes....I hope this helps and i hope that everything works out for you...be blessed.:)

Hi, I'm sorry for your loss :(   there is a possibility of pregnancy but it could also just be your body being slightly out of whack since the procedure.  The only way to really know( when you are not having a period) is to test 19 days after intercourse as by that point a hpt should pick up if there is hcg present (this is the advice I've been given).  I hope you get the result that you want xx
