I really need some help ladies!! Im scared out of my mind!!

Hi all! I need some help if anyone can give me some advice! I am 12 weeks pregnant! This is my 3rd pregnancy, the first 2 were full term very healthy babies which are now 7 and 4 yrs. Now with this pregnancy I have had very heavy bleeding on 2 seperate occocasions. about a week ago i woke up in the morning laying in a pool of blood, the area was bigger then a dinner plate, not to mention what was soaked into my clothes and I had a blood clot come out that was the size of a golf ball!! I went straight to the ER and they did an ultrasound and the baby was still very much alive, kicking, moving and the heartbeat was strong. So they told me I had a 50/50 chance of keeping the baby or misscarrying because so much blood was not normal and 50% of the time meant the begining of a misscarrage. I went home (devistated!!) Two days later I started bleeding again, nothing compared to the first, it was only enough to wipe once then it was gone. I went back to the ER cause they said to if I started bleeding again. They said the same thing...50/50. But they DID say that if my cervix was open that would be a 100% chance of a misscarrage and mine was and still is closed! THANKS TO GOD!! So, here it is 2 days after that and I was bleeding heavier then the first time with bigger blood clots, this time, the size of a baseball!! I went back to the ER (4th time now) and they are still saying the same thing. 50/50 chance and just to hang in there and wait it out. I had another ultrasound and the baby is STILL kicking, moving and has a great heartbeat!!! They said my cervix is still closed (which is still great) and that what may be going on is there is blood seeping through my closed cervix and building up and clotting in my vagina and when it gets too full it just comes pouring out! Has anyone else had a similiar story to this?? Im wondering....if i dont have a misscarrage and the baby continues to be ok then will i bleed for the remainder of the pregnancy and how can it be ok for me to loose SSOOOO much blood??? And if my cervix is closed (which is how a normal pregnancy goes) then how and why is blood seeping through when it dosent seep through with a "normal" pregnancy??? im so confused!! We dont want to lose our baby!! We had tried for a year to get pregnant and finally did and now this!! Does anyone have any answers for me at all?? Anything, advice or answers, would be GREATLY appreciated!!! Thanks in advance to all!!!

Hey, sorry that u are going thru this, i know how u feel trying for so long for a child and then to be scared cause of losing them....Maybe ask ur doc if it could be a placental abruption. Have they checked the placenta in a ultrasound? The miscarriage rate of a child at 12 weeks drops down to 10percent chance....so more than likely it wont be a miscarriage, but do they know what is causing u to bleed?

So sorry you are going through this. I know it can be a very scary thing to deal with. Its definitely a good thing that your cervix is closed and that the baby is still moving around and has a good heart beat. So that is great news!!!! I think you should make an appointment with your O/B to get this better treated. And maybe they can send you to a specialist to help you out. Also the ER should've gave you something to atleast slow down the bleeding..something called "Metherogine". I hope you can get this resolved quickly! Good luck and God Bless!
