Miscarriage 3 wks ago & now spotting after sex?

I had a natural & complete miscarriage a little over three weeks go.  The bleeding stopped completely after about a week. The last couple of days, I've been getting that lower back "ick" feeling you get when about start a period.  We had sex yesterday and I spotted about a couple of hours afterwards.  I thought it was my period starting, but everything is all clear today.  The spotting was literally just a spot.  One spot and nothing else.

Any ideas? Anyone experience this?

I'm sorry for your loss. Yes it's completely normal that may continue for a few weeks. It hasn't been a full cycle since your m/c so your body technically isn't back to normal yet. If a few more cycles this continues to happen let your dr know. You just want to make sure your body is 100%. After one of my m/cs I had continuous spotting for weeks you don't want to let it go that long. I hope you feel better soon. best wishes to you...

I'm sorry I don't know much about that.  Is it possible that you O'd and the spot was from that?  I have read some women do bleed just a tad during O.  m/c can really screw up your body, so IMHO just hang tight and see what happens.  But to be on the safe side you can always call your dr's and ask to speak to a nurse.

Sorry I cannot answer your question but helping to boot it up for you.....so you can get the answer.....just an opinion.....I would think that 3 weeks was long enough for you to wait.....as it is 3 weeks that one has to wait after a D & C.....to have sex....as was in my daughter's case just recently after losing her baby at 7 months along.....having no amniotic fluid since 18 weeks....the babies lungs did not develop....and lived only two hours....she had to have a D & C to remove the placenta......I hope you get an answer to your question and please take care...
