Rh negative / Rhogam shots

I just don't know what I should do anymore. I had an ectopic in 2004 and a mc in 2008, 2009, and 2010. I did have a healthy baby boy in 2007! So I am Rh negative and I guess I was supposed to have a Rhogam shot after I had my son or after the mc's. Well I never received them from the doc I was going to. I didn't know that I was supposed to be getting them at that time. Well when I found out I was pregnant I decided to go to a different doc. My levels weren't doubling and my progesterone level was very low so of course he said that I was going to mc. And then he told me that since I was Rh negative I needed the shot. I told him that I never got the Rhogam shot except when I was like 28 wks pregnant with my son. Idk... He seemed surprised and said hopefully this will help with future pregnancies. So basically I guess what I am trying to say/ask is does anybody think that not getting the shot after my pregnancy and miscarriages could have caused all of my miscarriages? I just need to know if there is still hope there I guess.

If your partner is Rh Positive, then not having the Rhogam shot after giving birth or having the miscarriages could very well have cause your miscarriages.  Having the shot at 28 weeks only protects the current pregnancy.  The shot after giving birth or having a miscarriage is for the next/future pregnancy.

Oh and also this was the very first time that I mc naturally. Every other time they basically rushed and told me I needed a D&C. I also got my period right away the next month unlike after getting a D&C taking forever to get my period.
