Second AF after D&C

Now I know AF can be a little wacky after a miscarriage or a D&C but I'm kind of worried about my AF here's my background a had a D&C May 12 first AF came June 26 lasted 5 days which is normal now here it is July 25 and AF is here AGAIN?

I had 28 day cycles up until Nov. 09 and then in Dec. they changed to 32 day cycles but I'm confused is it "normal to
have a 25 day cycle I'm a ovulating quicker since the D&C or what can you ladies
help me figure out why AF is so early.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Ok thanKs yea I found that letting nature take it's course is better because when I was thinking about getting pregnant and trying nothing happened but as soon as I stopped focusing on it and just did BD I got pregnant the next cycles so I'm hoping luck is on my side because the mucus was heavy so I hope that is a good sign that my body is back to "normal" and ready for another baby

ah .. that makes more sense .. you get mucous any time of your cycle but it changes when you ovulate .. just after my af it's pretty dry then as the days go on towards my af the mucous starts to build .. around ovulation it changes to kind of milky then stretchy then after ovulation leading up to af it changes again which is probably the mucous that you had mixed with blood .. any mucous at all is good as that shows that hormones are being produced in your body.

good idea just leaving it up to nature .. it is fascinating seeing your body go through the ovulation process but it does take the spontaneity out of bd-ing .. if you did it that way before then there's every chance that it will happen that way again .. good luck!

Ooh maybe I wasn't clear I know I can't ovulate during AF I thought the mucus was just a way to let me know that I did ovulate this month before my AF showed up but I thought about charting and taking temps but I decided not to and just enjoy BD'ing and let it happen natural like my previous pregnancy

I think it's very unlikely that you would be ovulating with your af .. if it was early in your af, it is likely that as you lose the inner lining of your uterus first, this can mix with any residual cervical mucus that you have and look like you described .. I wouldn't worry as your body will still be adjusting to not being pregnant .. if you are worried, I would talk to your doctor to get them to rule out anything else but I think it's ok .. maybe look at having a smear test to rule out infection .. it can't hurt .. keep me posted

if I was you, I would start (if you haven't already) charting your temperature and using ovulation tests .. this way you will be sure if you have ovulated or not

thanks .. yes we will be ttc again soon .. I have just got my 1st af since the d & c so will start charting and testing for ovulation soon .. I would love to be pregnant again soon, but it took us a long time to get to this one and was through ivf even though there is nothing wrong that we can see with either of us ... lets hope that my body understands what to do now

I can understand how it can all be so confusing .. I have just been at it for so long that it's 2nd nature to me now .. if there's anything else I can help with let me know .. I've learnt a lot on this site that I couldn't find anywhere else ..it's a great resource!

hi .. I can't see the problem with your cycle dates as you count the cycle time from the first day of af to first day of next and yours is june 26 to july 25 which makes it 29 days .. perfect! the only thing I can think of is that you may be counting from the end of your af which is wrong .. all sounds great and hopefully you get your bfp soon!! good luck
