Sex after M/C

I was just wondering how long after a M/C do most of you women wait until you have sex?  My doctor told me nothing in the vagina for two weeks.

My dr has usually used the words when u feel comfortable with it (emotional and pain wise) however we cannot try to conceive until one full cyle.. and one m/c it was 3 full cycles..

"nothing in the vagina for 2 weeks" is a general rule of thumb docs give.

I would stick with that. The nurse I talked to said to wait at least 2 to 3 days after the bleeding had stopped completely, and even then the first couple of times we had sex it was a little painful{physically, felt like the pain was maybe coming from my cervix?} but past two weeks from when I lost my baby everything was fine :)
