Update- bleeding and scan :)

i just thought i would let everyone know that i had another scan today which shows the baby has grown since last week and still has a heartbeat so all looking good. But the bleeding is still ongoing this has been 11 days now but it has calmed down alot i just notice it when i wipe so im glad its slowed down. The midwife doesnt know where the bleeding is coming from she said theres no blood near or around the baby so it has to be coming from somewhere else but havent got a clue where.
last week when i went for my scan i was 6 weeks 5 days bu the baby measured 5 and half weeks and then went today and im 7 weeks 5 days due to my lmp but baby only measures 6 weeks 4 days. The midwife said its an appoximate size because she couldnt get a good angle of the baby but im just wondering is this ok and should i be worried ?

Oh that is such good news!  Scan dates and lmp dates can be as much as 2 weeks difference so I really wouldn't worry too much about that.  With all of my pregnancies I measured 2 weeks behind my lmp date and yet all my babies were born early, perfectly healthy.  Are they going to keep a closer eye on you if you are still bleeding?  Keep us up to date :D

Just wanted to say that is great news.  I will say with my pregnancy now I was suppose to be 7 weeks and 6 days and baby only measured 7 weeks. I was a bit concerned but I just changed my dates.  I am 11 weeks pregnant now and I am going for another scan next week when I book it.

My first son I went for my scan and I was 11 weeks and 4 days but he only measured 9 weeks 5 days.  I was a bitconfused but didnt know any better.  He was born 2 days early and my placenta was ripped to shreds it was literally falling apart.  I will never know what went wrong but Ihavea healthy  3 year old

Just keep an eye on things and hopefully it will stop soon or they will find a reason why soon.  Your baby is growing and that is great news!

going by the date of your lmp is just an estimate, the baby can always be a little behind or ahead

I wouldnt worry yourself too much , the doctors and midwifes know best. But if you are worrying a bit too much try searching up a private clinic and getting a second opinion and another scan to check everything is okay. I think it will cost around 30 to 40 pound some places maybe more but worth putting your mind at rest if you are worrying !!
