Hello.. I am new here.... I was a member of June 2009 forum for pregancy until I suddenly lost our baby boy at 18 weeks. It was a terrible night and I actually had to push to deliever him. Some part of me wishes they would have put me to sleep and not actually be there in the moment. This is my second misscarriage and now I am considered high risk. I have a gut feeling I am not able to hold children full term but we are having tests done on Braegan to see if it was something wrong with him.. if not.. its me.

I too had hemoraged I was 11 almost 12 wks at the time and they did not diagnose me high risk at that point. They diagnosed the hematoma and put me on progesterone vag suppositories and just monitored me. At that point I had bleeding daily for a month in which I was put on pelvic rest and bed rest at the er. It was not until last week when my old ob saw the hematoma had gotten 8 centimeters bigger instead of smaller. I don't know why I'm assuming they didn't since bleeding in your first trimester is quite common. Now In Boston the drs wont' diagnose placenta previa until you are 18 or more weeks since anytime before that it is normal to have a low lying placenta which is another issue I have. Yikes. So I understand where you were and where you are coming from. Just keep your chin up and good luck.

Did you clarify with your dr whether it was absolutely NO sex, or just no BD.  Perhaps you can still have fun, just so long as you use protection.  That is what DH and I did until we were ready to TTC again.

I did have u/s done.. October 31 2008 we found out that i was pg from the ER because I was losing a lot of blood and clots to go with it.. they did an u/s then and found out that I was 6 weeks along. From then you would have thought I would have been labled high risk from the results there being a threatned miscarriage but they didnt. When I would go into the doctors office they would listen to his heart beat and then a week before the loss I had another u/s done... everything seemed to be going normal, at least I thought so. The night of the loss when I was in the ER they listened to his heartbeat and it was 140 then my water breaks after the doctor did a pelvic exam.

Thank you all for your support. It means a lot to me to have someone know exactly what I am feeling, even tho I wish no one has to go through something like this.

How long have you ladies waited to ttc again?? I am going insane here wanting to have fun with my hubby and cant cause the doc says the max wait is 6 weeks.

I'm sorry for your losses. I to have had repeat m/cs 6 to be exact. I'm pg and I'm a high risk pg unrelated to my reoccuring m/cs but because of a hematoma. Just know that every pg is different. I hope after they do the testing they can find out what is happening. During the pg did you have a u/s done at all? I wish you the best I hope you get some answers with the testing. Please take care and let me know what happens.

I'm glad to see you've joined our group, but I am so sorry you had to.  What advice did your dr give you about TTC again?  How long will it take to get the test results?  Come join us anytime you need to cry or vent, these ladies are wonderful.  Take care, and again I am so sorry for your little man.

I'm so sorry for your losses.  The best news about the testing, is that if they find something, almost everything is treatable these days.  Best of luck to you.

I am so sorry for your losses. You have come to a very loving and supportive community. The women  here are amazing and have personally helped me through a lot. I had a m/c in Aug. 2008 and am currently ttc again. I really hope the tests being done on your precious angel can give you some insight as to what happened. If you ever need to talk I am here, you can leave me a note or a message. Again, I am truly sorry for your losses.
