Whats going on

Last week I was 6 1/2 weeks pregnant. My ultrasound showed no fetal pole, the sac was collapsing(it was showing to be the size of about 4-5 weeks) and there was a bleed. The doctor told me to anticipate a miscarriage in the next 3-5 days. That was 4 days ago and I have no signs of a miscarriage. I feel great other then the depressed state of mind. My Beta hormone was at 2100 4 days ago. What could be going on?

I found ouat a 12 week ultra sound that I had a blighted ovum..  It was devestating as i had no signs that it was coming. No bleeding ... the sac was measuring 7 weeks 5 days...  MY HCG was 5000 the day I found out (it was 7000 back at my first doctors appoint 7 weeks early so).  It can take several weeks for you to pass it.  I ended up getting a d&C because I really didnt feel Iw as going to pass it anytime soon..

Also my hcg beta levels were at around 2300 the day before I started spotting. I was an absolute emotional wreck the next day from the sudden drop in hormones is my guess, because I had already made piece with the fact that I would not have a viable pregnancy. I cried alot for no real reason. And felt really small and fragile the whole day! = ( I hope something Iv said helps you out. Good luck next time.= )

It sounds like a blighted ovum or missed miscarriage. Its common to not see a fetal pole or yolk sac on a blighted ovum pregnancy. It is enevitably a miscarriage. I just went through this. But I didnt have any problems until the 13th week. No baby was ever seen. No fetal pole or yolk sac observed. And on the 13th week after 4 ultrasounds. I started to miscarry naturally on the day I wouldv had started my period. 3 days later I had a d&c. It sounds like you would be a candidate for the cytotec drug. Taken orally or vaginally before 9 weeks. It pretty much makes your body pass everything. Im sorry your going through this. = ( Is your cervix strong enough to carry a pregnancy to term? Have you had any other little ones?

Well the only problem is I can't have a D & C. My previous doctor did the LEEP on me when I was about 4 weeks pregnant because he didn't test me first. So my cervix is too weak to handle that and could rupture it and I could hemorrhage.

sometimes your body sees this as a pregnancy as there is still a placenta where your hCG levels still rise, resulting in a missed miscarriage. sometimes it may take a few weeks for everything to pass. see your doctor by the end of the week, he may advise waiting a few more days or a d&c
