after a D&C???

I had a D&C 13 days ago after finding out my twins had no heartbeat. I should have been about 10 weeks but there size was only 8 1/2 weeks. after going to the OB 9 days after the surgery because of lower abdominal pain he said there was no infection and that there shouldn't be any pain. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced lower abdominal pain after a D&C for longer than expected?

after my d and c, i felt random pains in my lower abdomin.  they went away after 2 weeks or so.

Thanks for your comment. I hardly bled at all after the D&C. I was expecting to bleed more but it was less than the lightest period and lasted for a few days. The Dr said I had closed back up. I go back tomorrow to see the surgeon.

Yes I am still having pain.  I had a d and c two weeks ago.  I had alot of clots and heavy bleeding I was rushed to the ER to find out it is normal and that the pain is just your uterus contracting to push out whatever is left and shrinking back to it normal size.  I am so sorry about your lost.  Hope this helped.
