bleeding after a month

hello i had a abortion i was 14 weeks on the 20th of may and i am still bleeding but it just comes out of no were and bleed really heavly and filling my pad in minutes every time this has happened it hasnt went on for this long but is it normal?

iv done that loads of times and im fine the first time i was in a mess but i dealt with it theres no way i am going back to the hospital like the other girl said it will stop on its own

I also had exactly the same thing my first miscarriage.  I started to miscarry on Jan 5th, took cyptec (spelling?) instead of having a d&c and just didn't stop bleeding.  I wound up having to have an emergency d&c Feb 2nd to stop it, and get rid of the rest of the tissue.  Please don't ignore it if it continues.  If you every fill more than a pad an hour, you need medical treatment right away.  I don't mean to frighten you, but in my case it had gotten pretty serious, and I was in a bit of trouble when my husband took me to the emergency room.  If its more then a pad an hour, don't wait to see your Dr., go to ER.

it stopped on it's own.  i just rested and tried not to move around too much.  if it is uncontrollable though, i would go to the doctor's again though

how did you get it to stop? sounds exactly like it

sounds like what happened to me that i described above.  i did not have any clots, just bright red blood and lots of it.  right when i got the major cramp, so much blood came out that i bleed through my underwear and pants before i culd even get to the bathroom to see what the cramp was.

its not all the time though and i went to the hospital they just said ring us if it gets werse i dont like them people it only happened like 5 times or something so its not that bad

you might wana tell her about that, the bleeding.  May until now is a long time to be bleeding, i dont think you should still be bleeding and you may need the surgery(d&c) to help the bleeding stop.  You should let them no you have been bleeding from may until now, thats not normal and thats a lot of blood to be loosing.  Keep me posted

the first time it happened i went into hospital and i was told i would have to have an oporation to get rid of the tissue that didnt come out but i took the tablet to get rid of it because i was scared of having an op so i discarged myself they were pritty bad some times i just get really scared when it happens that they wont stop im scared to leave the house incase it happens again the last time it happened it didnt last that long but could of easily filled two pads in the time it happened it worried me because i dont think any blood clots came out which normally happens. the pain is pritty bad but the doctor said it was just stress and homones didnt tell her about the bleeding though.

Well may til now is a long time to be bleeding.  What type of procedure did they do, a D&E, because sometimes the D&C is recommened along with the D&E when your that far along.  The d&c is suppose to help stop the bleeding.  I had two abortions in 1996, they gave me anitbiotics after procedure and i didnt bleed over a week.

It will not hurt to contact your dr to make sure everything is ok. Some women/people have clotting factor problems which your body doesnt clot properly causing you to continue to bleed.

how long does the beelding last for?  after my miscarriage and i had to have a d and c, i got this thing were out of the blue, i would get a strong pain, and then gush blood for like one hour.  it only happened about 3 times, but the doctor said it was my uterus collapsing back down to normal size and pushing out anything that was left.  if it continues i would call your doctor asap.
