You should call your doctor anytime you experience bleeding during pregnancy, he/she is the only one who can tell you what to do, what to watch for and what's going on with the pregnancy.

Bleeding can be very confusing because different things happen to different people.  I had a friend that bled around 12 weeks and she is  now about 24 weeks whereas I bled at 14 weeks and I miscarried.

If you have pain or a sore back then you should be concerned.  To be quite honest there is nothing anyone can do to stop you miscarrying if it does happen.  I know how humilating it is when you are in a packed waiting room and for an hour you are walking back and forth to the toilet changing pads every 5 minutes because they were too busy and couldn't find a room fast enough.

I miscarried my son 3 hours after arriving in hospital.  I started with pink discharge one day and the next it was bright red, it started gushing and about 3 hours after the gushing started my son was born.

It is a very emotional thing to go through but please just rest and take wach day as it comes.  If you are having a fever or you are feeling uneasy then definately go to the doctor.  I hope everything is ok and I hope you have a healthy baby.

Take Care
