chemical pregnancy

I have just found out that I have had a chemical pregnancy.  I am just wondering when I will start another period and when I will ovulate again...will it be long.  I had a dark pos. test monday (urine test) then Tues. neg.  I just found out today that the blood test I took was neg.

After my chemical in January (I was almost 5 weeks) my period started about 30 days later, I have a 27 day cycle, so we're only talking about 3 days off. So things got back to normal pretty quickly for me.

Hi adgal,

Was there ever a reason for your chemical pregnancies? I just recently had 2 chemical pregnancies one month apart - and had blood tests done and my progesterone is low (all else seems normal). Were you able to conceive after this??

Please let me know (I need some hope!!!). Thanks in advance :)

I have had 2 chemical pregnancies.  In most cases, women dont even know they are pregnant yet, and it appears as just a heavier "period" maybe a bit late. I found out the same way you did, positive EPT , but in my case once my period showed up on time, and the other it was a bit early.  In my case I ovulated as normal around day 14, if I considered the first day of the bleeding as day 1.  Chances are your period will show up pretty close to normal.  I am sorry you went through this, and I hope you conceive again quickly.
