did I have a miscarriage??? pos.,then neg. preg test

Did I have a miscarriage??  Was I pregnant????  What should I do, and how long should I wait before trying again??  Do you think that the Depo shot might have had anything to do with this?????  I was on the shot for several years, before stopping it approx 18-20 months ago.

The first day of my last period was Oct.3.  On Nov. 7, I took 2 preg. tests. They both came back positive (pregnant).  Starting Nov. 8, I had vaginal discharge ( I guess that is what you would call it).  Nov. 12, I started bleeding, the bleeding stopped on the 16th.  It started out light, and then got a little heavier, and I did have some clotting.  Today (Nov 17)  I took 2 more pregnancy tests, and they both came back negative (not pregnant).

It sounds like a chemical pregnancy,(very early miscarriage). I have had alot of them and when you started bleeding you should have went to the hospital and have them run a qualitative hcg. but your hcg levels may be to low now. most women don't even know they were pregnant. Since it just seems like a really late period. And levels drop quickly so its very hard to tell. but its very rare to get a false positive. Esp more then one. hope this helps.

Sounds like you might have had a very early one. Wait until your next period and then start trying again. You could start trying straight away but for dating purposes people generally recommend waiting.

Take care.
