did I have a miscarriage?

I was told in the E.R. that I was threatened a miscarriage april 28th. May 1st or 2nd I was bleeding for a whole week, and took a hpt after I stopped bleeding. The test was negative, does that mean I had a miscarriage? I have 3 children and if I did miscarry, this is my first.

I would think you probably miscarried. I took seven pregnancy tests before I went to the doctor-all showed 'pregnant.' When I finally went to the doc and got blood drawn they told me it was low and went I went back they told me it had dropped and I would  miscarry. I took a pregnancy test that night just to see...and it came up negative. Im very sorry for your loss and wish you the best of luck.

I'm sorry to hear that.  Most likely you did miscarry.  Did you pass large blood clots or any tissue?  How far along were you? Maybe you should ask your dr to check your hcg levels.  Just to be sure and to see if they went back to normal.  On April 14th I went for an u/s and they told me that my baby had stopped growing at 8 weeks ( I was 11.5 weeks)  My dr decided to send me home and let me miscarry naturrally.  I spent two weeks of agony waiting to see what was going to happen.  On April 27th I started bleeding a lot, passing huge clots, and in a lot of pain.  They had to do an emergency D&C because I was loosing to much blood.  It hasn't been easy.  I have my days when I feel ok but some days I just can't stop crying.  My husband and I are ttc.  I want to be pregnant again asap.  Good luck to you and keep me posted.
