I'm lucky the last time but 5 yrs ago I bleed for almost a month straight m/c my daughters twin and I was still pg with her. It was brutal in my eyes I did my time. Last time was just as brutal because I had no sign of it happening I went to bed and in the middle of the night just started hemmorageing out of the blue. I was also told for 2 weeks after that I was still pg and then oh you're not. It was a nightmare. Nobody is lucky in the amount of time it takes to expell their babies. All around no matter what the circumstances are it's all very painful and brutal! Good luck to you!

I do have to say I'm a little envious that you only bled for 5 days with your m/c. I started my m/c on Nov 9 and I'm STILL spotting!!!!!!!!!! I know that everyone is different. How far along were you when you m/c'd? I was 7w6d. Should I expect my first AF about 4 weeks from the actual m/c (the passing of tissue) or is it about 4 weeks from when I stop spotting?

I had a m/c back in march and I had what seemed like two periods and the next month my period came and got back to normal after that.  I also had a m/c in sept and that was a natural m/c and the bleeding only lasted 5 days. See what happens and if the same thing happens next month I would go and talk to your dr. Best wishes to you and I hope you have a quick recovery.....Sorry for your loss.....

I'm sorry for what you are going through.  I don't know what to tell you about the bleeding, as that never happened to me.  It does seem like that is not normal.  Have you talked to your DR, or have you had problems with your period before?
