well i got my period but it was heavy for 0ne day and light on the next day. it seems odd that its not heavy for at least 3 days and light 4 days. should i be worried
With a natural miscarriage, there is typically some monitoring afterward to ensure your levels are decreasing as they should, and that there are no "products of conception" left. Typically they do this through weekly blood tests and will follow you until you reach 0. I just had a situation where I had what is called an incomplete miscarriage and ultimately required a D&C. It is good you are having a follow up. And keep the faith. I had 5 losses, then had a beautiful healthy son and am now working on no. 2. I just had another miscarriage, but am not giving up. And you shouldn't either! Lots of women have 1 or more losses, then success. Good luck, and take good care.
Your Dr should have done an ultrasound if u miscarried. How else can they tell if everything was passes when u miscarried? Then after they will continue to check ur hcg levels to make sure ur #s keep going down. My 1st mc I was only 3 1/2 pg I have heavy bleeding, passing clots (& probably some tissue from pregnancy), and major cramps for bout a day & a half. Then the bleeding was like a period for me for bout 3 more days. My 2nd mc I was 7 weeks along & I bleed heavy again like last time for 3-4 days then normal period for another 4. I was monitored very closely to make sure wast ectopic. My numbers didn't drop to 0 til bout 3 weeks after mc.
Good luck & best wishes. I had been ttc for 5 years, doing treatments with no luck. I pretty much gave up hope & "trying" to get pg. Then in June out of blue I got pg only to lose her as soon as I found out I was pg, then again in Oct. Plus side is for some reason i can get pregnant now but I can't hold onto it.
well when i got pregnant in august we had only been trying about 2 cycles. we were really excited. we have a 3 year old at the time she was still two (november bday). we told her that she was going to be a big sister and weren't expecting any problems since all had went so well with my daughter. i started spotting 0ct 17 and on the 19 evening i started bleeding very heavily. probably should have went to the hospital with that much blood loss but i really wanted a natural miscarriage. however when i went to my ob the next morning he said i needed a d&C to finish it all. i agreed knowing how much i had already bled. i was told to wait at least 2 cycles and we did.
my hormones have been really off lately i had a semi period for the whole month of dec, which was my second cycle the first completely normal. we stared trying to conceive this january again and i have to wait til monday to take a pregnancy test. i don't feel pregnant.
well we were trying to conceive really only until jan 8 since doc called and said ultrasound showed a thick uterine lining and wants me to take a round of provera, if i dont end up pregnant. after that we stopped trying didnt want to risk another miscarriage. by monday it should show up on a pregnancy test. i really wanted to get pregnant this month to have the baby in oct 2011 before my daughter turns 4. im really nervous.
hopefully your hormones settle down soon!
they said i was clean and just to wait for the the first cycle. i think i would of gone crazzy if was bleeding for along time and with pain. i have to go back in a month for my check up on my hormones they were a bit high....
how long have you been trying to conceive
sorry for your loss. i also had a miscarriage, in oct. have they done an ultrasound to see if you've passed everything? my miscarriage involved a lot of bleeding and pain. but even after all the pain and extreme bleeding i had only passed about half of what was inside. i had d&c and my hormones went down quickly. it sounds like your hormones are still up and could be causing your symptoms. hope this helps
