Hey there, I hate to deliver bad news, but by the looks of your levels, the pregnancy will have already failed or will fail if it is still there. Of course I am not a doctor, but the levels are a pretty good indication of miscarriage. I am sorry :(  I would suggest If you are still unsure about making the decision to take the shot, you have another ultrasound in a week to see if anything has changed or shown up in the sac, however, the chance of ectopic pregnancy seems high and you should be aware that if you leave it too long it could mean emergency surgery for you if your ovary ruptures if this is indeed what is in there. I am very sorry again and I really hope that this is not the case for you :)  good luck and all the best whatever happens. x

It's very difficult to answer a question like this, your hcg levels should have more than doubled by the time you had them tested again on the Monday and the fact that by Tuesday they were dropping is not a good sign at all.  You need to be sure in your own mind though before you take any further action.  Another blood test in a couple of days to see what's happening with your hcg levels should confirm one way or the other whether this pregnancy is viable.  I am so sorry you are having to go through this.
