is this normal?

hi ladies

well my af arrived on the 24th i had very heavy bleeding till saturday and thought it was over at last.
saturday night i had no bleeding then sunday afternoon it started again, then monday afternoon stopped again and today its started again is this normal or shall i see my doctor has anyone else been through this.
some advice would be a great help put my mind at rest.

My af arrived on the 24th also and lasted until friday with heavy bleeding. Nothing on sat or sun, then on Monday had spotting all day and nothing for the rest of the week. I just assume it's my body trying to get back to normal.

This happens to me often, I dont know why, have never thought to ask if its normal, but it is very frustrating because its like the calm before the storm and you think its over, and then...surprise! But i have always had irregular periods, having PCOS and so i just kinda assumed it came along with the territory. Sorry, i know that doesnt really help....
