I had a miscarriage, at 11 weeks I had a little brown discharge (just when I wiped and only once or twice a day, some days I had nothing).  I had an exam scheduled the day before Thanksgiving, I "felt" like I was the right size and my cervix was closed, all good signs.  The day after thanksgiving I had the ultrasound done and they just saw a 6 1/2 week baby with no heartbeat.  I was 100% sure of my due date, so I knew I lost the baby.  I never once had much bleeding or cramps and I still felt pregnant.  I also did, however have REALLY bad back pain, not cramping, but sharp pain.  The baby had been dead for 4 1/2 - 5 weeks, but my body didn't realize it.  I never had my levels checked, so I don't know what my numbers were.  I also would not have gone in if I wasn't RH negative and knew I needed a shot, I honestly didn't think anything was wrong.

It's very possible to have a miscarriage with little to no symptoms, and it's also very possible to have cramping and bleeding and end up delivering a perfectly healthy baby.  Everyone reacts different to everything, just try to hang in there until you know for sure what is going on.
