Pregnancy right after miscarriage!?!?!?

My hpt didn't show up as positive until I was more than a week late...  the line was very faint.  

I have 2 boys... 6yrs and 10yrs old.  I didn't have any problems with them but this pregnancy was different.  I started spotting Monday morning and then nothing..  went to the Dr that morning and they said I was still preg. They gave me a blood test and my Hcg levels were only in the 400's and I was 7-8 weeks along.   I was on bed rest the next day but that night I miscarried. I had a miscarriage on 11/25/08 They gave me another blood test the next morning and my Hcg levels were down to the 200's.  I didn't want to go to the Dr gain so I took a hpt a week after to see if my Hcg levels were down....  It was negative.

After my miscarriage I wondered what the heck could have caused it.  I had a surgery in the past where they had to laser to stop some bleeding and a D&C.  I wondered if that caused it or if it was something else.  We were told to wait at least 3 cycles to try again.

I took a hpt 12/23/08 and it is positive.   I JUST had the miscarriage a month b4!   I  called the Dr to ask for a blood test to check my Hcg levels...   Because of the Holidays I wont get the results until Monday  Jan 5th.   I'm hoping everything will turn out alright but am afraid to get too excited. Every time I go to the restroom I check for bleeding.  I'm so afraid of something happening I am not able to enjoy the pregnancy like I should.

Dawn if you are off on your dates that could def affect what they see in the u/s. If the dr has any concerns they will make another app. My dr waited with this pg to do a u/s and I was not as far along as he had expected so a week later I went and everything was fine. Now the baby is measuring further along than the original edd. My dr always gives a 5 day window to add on or take off. This pg was my first cycle after my m/c in sept. I wish you the best and let me know what happens.......

Sometimes when the sac is larger than normal it could be due to the fact that youre carrying more than 1! We had an u/s at 7 weeks and thought we were having 1,it wasnt until last week at 9 weeks we saw 2!!! so there might be one hiding in there!

I just had my Dr appointment  1/15. Since I never had the chance for an AF after my miscarriage she was concerned how far along I actually was. The Dr gave me 2 sonograms.  With the first one she found the gestational sack and it measured 9 weeks but she was concerned that if it measured that much she would have been able to see the baby... and she didn't. Plus I didn't think I would be that far either... it just didn't sound right.  She did a vaginal ultrasound next. She started measuring the sack and saw the baby.  I was so happy because I was already worrying after that first sono. Before she said anything I saw the heartbeat. OMG I wanted to cry. I've been so afraid to get too excited and with that little flicker of red and blue...  sitting here typing this I am tearing up.  My baby has a heartbeat!

We after the measurements they thought I was 6 weeks 5 days..   I thought I was 7 weeks so that sounded about right. One thing I do wonder about is that all the pictures I see on BabyCenter and other places show the gestational sack being more proportioned.  Mine on the sonogram looked a lot more spacious.  Does anyone  know anything about this?

Well I got the blood results back.  The 1st draw was 1,831 and the 2nd was 4,098.  It did make me feel better but I'm still extremely nervous.  Do Dr's usually repeat the test at a later date?   I go to the Dr on the 15th. They didn't tell me exactly what would be happening at the app but by then I should be 7 weeks so I hope they will do an ultrasound.   If everything goes well until the Dr appt I will be farther along than I was when I had my miscarriage 11/25.  I think I will feel better after then....

I had a m/c at 5 weeks Oct 16, I found out I was pregnant again on Nov 17th.  I wasn't trying to get pregnant the second time, we wanted to wait at least one cycle, but it happened anyway.  I was very nervous and thought it was too early, that I would miscarry again, etc.   But so far everything is going well and I am 10 weeks, 2 days today.  I actually knew how far along I was because I knew the conception date.  But in your case you will have to have an early ultrasound to date the pregnancy.  You can go in for one around 6 or 7 weeks.  (So if you estimate you are 4 weeks pg now, you can go in 2 or 3 weeks).  

Hope this helps! Chances are everything will go perfectly this time around! Everyday that I you don't see bleeding or have cramping will make it that much easier.

I had an m/c in 11/06 and was pregnant 12/06 went on to deliver a healthy baby in 9/07.  hope it helps.

I feel the same way. I  am going to try again after my m/c on 12/26, but I know that once I get pregnant again, I will be terrified of not "staying pregnant".  Everytime you go to the toilet it's so scary.

I'm not sure how far I am either...  I never had a period after my miscarriage so its hard to say.  I read that my ovulation was going to be Dec 6-12 so I tried to avoid oing anything then but since I ended up pregnant anyways....  I figure I must have gotten that way either right b4 those days or the tail end.  If it was right after the 12 then Im shocked that I would have already had a positive hpt result Christmas Eve  12/24

How are they even able to determine the due date or how far along you are when you didn't even get to have a period?

hey there i know how you feel i miscarriaged on the 31/12 and am scared to fall preg again just in cause i have another miscarriage i dont know if i would be able to go through all that again.i'm waiting for blood test too, if only the doctors could tell us what has cause us miscarriage

The thing is i dont know my doctors appointment is on tuesday and we were going to calculate my due date then because i  got pregnant before af i think i might be 4weeks I dont know if this is a miscarriage it is very different from the first one i had really its like a normal period.

Hi there i had a miscarriage in november found out i was pregnant Dec 27 before i even got my period i know what your going through but the bad thing i started bleeding like a normal period and cramping so i might be having another miscarriage right now i wish you all the best and lots of baby dust.

Hi i know how you feel. I had a miscarriage on the 30th Oct last year and i am now about 5 weeks preg again. I am also terrified and like you check every time i go to the toilet. I am also waiting on blood results due to the holiday break.
