miscarriage???

somebody please tell me something positive. i'm going out of my mind.
i'm 6 weeks and 4 days preg. However 10 days ago i went for a scan cos i'd had bleeding. (i had had a m/c 2 months earlier so was aware of the signs) The scan 10 days ago showed nothing in the sac, no baby no heartbeat, just empty. They told meto prepare for m/c. 3 days later it started i lostextreme amounts of blood suffering with back ache and cramps. So my scan today was a shock. I'd prepared myself with the worse, however the scan showed the baby, growth of the baby and the size it should be to the day. But no heartbeat. Am i going to miscarry? I have got to go bk in a week and its going tobe the longest week of my life. I have read stories that says the same and they went bk and at 7 weeks the h/b was found. How likely is it this will happen to me?

I had bleeding at 8 weeks with my pregnancy that happened in the same week as my MC... (got preg in the same weeek) and im all fine and good!
But you will more than likely see your baby's heartbeat :) it does happen to people are you sure you're 6 weeks?? If you have anymore bleeding see someone ASAP!

Yes My son will be 1 on the 24th of this mth. I was just in your shoes last yr! It doesn't always mean a m/c w bleeding or even repeat u/ss....

Hang in there.

Hi Jodie

I would just stay positive.  Is it possible you were pregnant with twins without knowing it????  I only say this because my aunty at about 11 weeks loss excessive amounts of blood, she was bleeding profusely.  When she went for an ultrasound they saw the baby who is now 12.  When she gave birth to my cousin they said that she had a huge placenta which wasn't normal.
I guess these things just happen and if you have seen a heartbeat I wouldn't be too concerned because your baby is there.

Goodluck and I hope you have a healthy pregnancy.

Aww honey I'm so sorry you are going through this. I was just in your shoes last yr w my son. I always have low rising hcg levels so right off the bat I had to have repeat bw done and then I had to go back for repeat u/ss they couldn't see the hb and 12 wks I had heavy bleeding and until delivery day and beyond it was truly one big nightmare! My son will be 1 this mth on the 24th! Bleeding doesn't always mean the end of a pg or repeat testing. It is usually the cause of something else going on but it doesnt' always mean the end. It is a scary and crazy time but keep your chin up and your feet up stay well hydrated and req to have another u/s done. Typically your hcg levels out around 10 -11 wks so if they are testing it at that point and it doesn't double don't panic it's normal! I'm a total optomist! I honestly just wrote a journal entry about what a nightmare my pg was it was truly traumatizing! I'm here if you need to talk! Keep in touch and please let me know what happens! Best wishes to you and your baby!
Hugs,
