pregnancy

Hi there, I have been having a really tough time with my pregnancy, I have in and out of the ER because I keep having discharge of blood. I'm going into my 2nd trimester and the doctors don't seem to tell me anything that would help me keep this baby besides that if I'm going to miscarrie is going to happen.

I went to the ER last night and I noticed that my HCG levels are decreasing, what does that mean? and are there any treatments that I can look for that help me with this situation.

Thank you'

I've been Google-ing a lot and came across a site that said depending how far along you are, your Hcg levels should peak around 8-10 weeks then start declining staying at lower levels. So if you're entering your 2nd trimester your #s aren't as significant anymore. Hope this helps. Have faith.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I started having complications at 12 wks w my youngest. The er dr prescribed vaginal progesterone suppositories 2xs a day and bedrest. I couldn't work etc. I had to go in for daily us's the thing with hcg is about 10-12 wks our hcg levels out and you don't see it rise as rapidly as it did before. I would monitor your levels to see how much they are dropping and ask for a u/s . There are precautions you can try to take to keep the cervix closed but ultimately unfortunately nothing can really prevent a m/c that is in gods hands. Keep your chin up. Be sure to stay well hydrated. I'm here if you need to talk and please keep me posted! Best wishes to you and your baby!
