Miscarriage question

On November 18 I went to the e.r due to bledding alot during my 9 week o pregnancy, I wa clotting but I wasn't really cramping, when I went back on November 23 they had said they seen no baby in the sac, the baby could still be There but they weren't sure, I felt normal after that but I still had pregnancy symptoms, what are the possibilities the baby might still be there? I have an appointment at the End of this month.

its good you have an appointment. if you have had miscarriage its very important to make you have passed all the tissues. i have a feeling that there's  nothing you will be able to do. the first bleeding might have caused baby to miscarry and when you had other scan only thing you needed to pass was sac. may be thats you had bleeding for couple of days. but i can not say anything. another scan should be done at this stage.

anyway do not worry. and take care of urself.

the reason why doctors said that is because sometimes your days can be off. conception date can only be measured if you get another scan.  if you had scans before and you were able to see a sac, yolk and a baby with/without heartbeat then i would say you need another scan. doctors can not be so careless putting you at risk.
did you had bleeding after your scan. because if you did chances are very minimum that you will catch any infection.
regarding pregnancy symptoms its happens due to hormones as long as you will be able to see positive on pregnancy strip you will keep having them. as HCG levels take time to go down may be a week or so.

i have a feeling everything should be fine if you had no bleeding after your scan. it could be possible you were early and doctor should perform another scan after a week or 10 days to see progress. if baby is shown at that stage with heart beat of atleast any viable progress has seen then there's a chance you might carry on with this pregnancy.

ask your doctor to do your blood tests to see what HCG you are measuring. and take plenty of fluids and take plenty of rests.

on your next appointment make sure to get bloods drawn. and especially internal exam to see any sign of infection.

best of luck

All u need is a repeat scan to clarify the picture try to get one done preferably trans-vaginal and also check your blood group if it is negative u might need an inj Anti-D to protect yourself from future pregnancy related specific problems
