Period still not regular after miscarriage

Hello , i had my third miscarriage in feb.2009 . i did find out the reason behind them though i have a rare blood clotting disorder. I do have two children ages 12 and 8. I dont know why its just now affecting me, weird huh. anyway i am 30 years old. i cant take bc because of my disorder so i cant regulate me period. i have only had 2 periods  since my m/c. one was because i took estrogen pills. other than that it has been since sept. i dont have in surance so i cant see a dr. Has anyone been so missed up that it took more than 6 months to get back to normal? also i am on a baby asprin every day to protect me from the blood clotting. and for future pregnancys i have to take injections everyday called lovenox. Not sure i want to go thru all the heartache and pain again though. I am just leaving it in Gods hands ...thanks for reading

mommato5,

hi - I just answered another post and I'll repeat some of what I wrote.  I'm in the 40+ttc forum and heard about Evening Primrose.  Its a natural remedy but you should still check with a health professional to be sure its right for you.  It supposedly helps with producing cervical mucuos and helps regulate the menstrual cycle.  Again, I'm not a medical professional so don't take my advice - this is only what i've heard / read.   While you're waitign for your cycle to begin again - continue to take your folic acid and prenatals if you're planning on more children.  This can help prevent neural tube defects.    Good luck to you and I hope you find your answers.  No, you're not alone here on this forum.  And , so sorry for your loss.  i hope your heart and body heal quick.

Thanks, my blood disorder is called plasminogen activator inhibitor, it is normally between 2-45 mine is 116. I have never heard of this but thank God i found a dr. to check for this.  I had a horrible dr before i switched, it was just to hard to go to a place where all i heard was bad news. So i switched to a dr who seemed to really care . And he did only four more tests on me,i had lots of test from  the other dr, and sure enough he found that. I did read somewhere on the net that it can effect ovulation so i wonder if this is why i am not having a period? I do not know i wish i had more answers . thanks for reading my post i'm glad i am not alone in this that there are others who have been through the same thing...who can relate
