2 missed miscarriages

i have suffered two missed miscarriages, both pregncies went well untill round 8 weeks i suddenly stopped feeling pregnant and sick, both times this worried me so i rushed to hospital for a scan.both times i saw a healthy baby with a heart beat, only for a few weeks later to find at my 3 munth scan that the heart beat had stopped about a week after i stopped feeling sick and had the emergency scans.my midwife and doctors wouldnt take me seriously when i knew somthing was wrong, and im still confused about why this keeps happenining and m convinced its a hormone related problem which drops in my system eventually causing baby to stop growing.the 1st died at ten weeks and the second died at just under 9,both times it took around a week and half from me not feeling pregnant to the heart stoping.if anyone has heard of this before please let me know .i want to know if there are treatments avalable if this is my hormones.

I want to say to claire and babyhope i am so sorry for your loss and what you are going threw, i think having a m/c is one of the worst things a woman could go threw. Take your time to greive and get yourself emotionaly and physcially strong. i will keep you ladies in my prayers

I agree with leighann and hope. Get some testing done, i had a missed m/c june12th and a d&c june 17th, i new something was wrong that day i woke up so i went to er to get u/s. i was 10weeks 3 days, scan showed baby was 10weeks.  Being on med help has helped me cope with my loss, i still have my moments where i get sad at times.  I am ttc currently but i dont think i am preggo, i will try again during september ovulation and if it doesnt happen, i guess it will have to happen on its own, but i dont plan on having children after 35, so i got 3 years.

I am so sorry for your loss. definitely there is a lot of testing that you can do, like genetic testing, progesterone testing, and a lot others. just make sure you have tested for everything before you conceive again so that you try with real hope. make sure you are treated if needed and if nothing wrong than you know its Gods will. sometimes docs don't even consider referring you to a specialist until your 3 mc. but you are the patient and have the right so do get tested before trying again it doesn't hurt and at least you will know if its your body or not. hopefully not~ stay strong. and lots of prayer your way take care.

I am going through this myself. I am new to this forum but had been on med help for several months.  I have TTC for 22 months, just had my first missed miscarrage with twins.  At my 6 week check, two heartbeats 120 bpm but at my 10 week check, both were dead, one died early at about 7 weeks and reabsorbed, known as vanishing twin...the other I lost symptoms, actually didn't really have any and they said there was no heartbeat, my body was keeping the placenta alive.  I took meds to "abort" the placenta and am just stopping bleeding today.  The RE nurse briefly mentioned injectables, when we have our evlauation I am asking about progesterone suppositories and to see if there are any tests we can run. Since it was ferternal twins due to clomid, I consider it two miscarrages, one pregnancy if that makes any sense, I will keep you posted.

i had 2 missed miscarriages in a 5 month time span, the best thing you can do is have recurrent pregnancy loss testing done to see if it is something simple like progesterone or a blood clotting DO that can be treated so you do not have to endure this again.  your OB can refer you to a fertility specialist to run these tests.  check your insurance because many will pay for this after your second loss.

i am so sorry you have had to face this.
