so happy!!!
I just got back from having the u/s. after the dr telling me two weeks ago he has been doing his job for 10 years and is sure my ovary will need to be removed.. he said it was not what he thought. it was a big huge cyst that was the size of my ovary and its now gone. totally gone!!!!! I asked what the black dots were on the ovary and he said a whole lot of eggs. he then looked at my other ovary and there were plenty of eggs in the one as well.
he said i can go ahead and TTC. that is the first time a dr has given me to go ahead since the m/c.. not that i listed in the first place but its was sure nice to hear it. he asked me if i knew about OPK's. i said i used them this month but only half the test line was close in color to the reference line. he said because I had such a big cyst on that ovary i probably didnt ovulate. oh i so hope that this will be the start of good new rather than constant bad new.

this AF is longer than last AF. in fact it is like a normal one for me. i got it on the 1st and im still spotting. I dont know if ill have a 25DC again or the normal 27DC. im going to start OPK maybe on Sunday or Monday. just my luck ill O early and I don't want to miss it. the online ones i got say to start testing on CD8 for a 25DC

Thanks for the info on the cysts, I never knew. Well, it looks like we will be cycle buddies again this month. AF arrived this morning. Only 11 days till my RE appt. It will happen during the week I am supposed to O. It's on a Tuesday the 16th, and I should O on Friday the 19th.

well, if you find that the internet ones work as well as the others at least you know or not if you can or someone else can use them in the future. As I said, those pre-seed ones I got did work and EARLIER than the cheap $ store ones, so who knows? When are you starting to test??? About 5 days???

I think ill use the ones i got on the internet and when the line starts to get darker ill use both at the same time. jsut to see what happens. at least ill be able to give advice on OPKs to anyone asking what brand is better. I wont tell DH that im using two at the same time though... lol.

hey, why don't you try the other OPK along with the answer ones and see if they are correct. I did that with the pre-seed ones as well as those $ store ones AND the expensive ones for the preg test...it looks like for me they all worked...and the pre-seed ones definitley worked the earlies as I now know that the line came up on 9dpo. i think those are the same as your OPK??? Just a thought, at least you will know in case you need to end up using a bunch the first month..hopefully you wont need any more and get your BFP, but since TTC just is a luck game it seems, you never can tell!

Honestly, I would go with the Answer brand. You know that they work right? And you don't want to take any chances.

I was going to ask about EPO but forgot when I heard the good news. I was so shocked that it had gone that i just couldn't think. I am going to phone the nurse to ask her what kind of cyst it was so i can read up about it .if you want ill ask her a question about it if you want.
I got my opks at early-pregnacy tests.com. I dont know much about them. i think i used Answer the last time i got preggers and got a definite positive. I have 9 left but think ill go and get a box of Answer as well.

nunu - what brand of OPK do you currently have and how many left? If they were cheap generics, I would probably toss them. But otherwise there shouldn't be any reason why they aren't any good. I still have 2 left from this months cycle, and I'll use those up first next cycle. I use the Answer brand and so far I feel as if they have worked for me.

I wish we could all met in person!!!!! its weird having friends that ive never met before. did I ever mention that i met my DH on the internet. lol. I was living in Australia and he was here in the states. it could at times be a very expensive courtship, but well worth it!.

hey...that's a hard question about the OPK's cause you don't want to waste them if they work, but you don't want to be unsure...? That answer was alot of help hugh? LOL!

Congrats my friend that is awesome news. I just can'tstop smiling for you. Nothing like seeing our eggs in a u/s it's so reassuring that our bodies are doing what they need to so we can have a BFP. I hope this is yoru month NUNU you totally deserve it! Lots of baby dust to you,,,,,,,,,,,,,!!!!

SO i guess ill be OPKing again but im not sure if ill use the left over ones of get a different brand. any thoughts? as the dr said i probably didn't O this cycle that's why i didnt get a very good test line. I guess ill see how many i have left. seen I got AF two days early this cycle im not sure how long the next one will be so ill have to start OPKing earlier than last month.
