spotty period after miscarriage

Hello,

I had miscarriage on July 9th. I spoke to a gynocologist and she advised me to take novomedrone to regulate my periods. I was also advised to take blood test for TSH. My TSH is slightly low and I am currently on very low dosage medication for hypothyroidism. After July 9th, I had spotty period 3 days ago (12-September). It was there for one day and then I had no bleeding whatsoever. Is this normal? Should I be consulting a doctor for this? This really has me worried.

Any replies would be really appreciated.

Thanks,

Jay

Its never a bad idea to consult your Dr. if you are concerned.  But having an irregular period after m/s is pretty common.  I had my last D&C on June 1 and am not on chlomid as my cycle went from 28 (like clockwork) to 25 days.  It can take time for your body to regulate itself, and I bet your next period will be quite normal. Best of luck to you.

i miscarried on 29th july my 1st period only came a fortnight ago n was also light, i was told the first period is rather heavy so it took me by suprise.

i just presume the body will regulate itself in it's own time, i would like to start trying again but i'd rather wait till my body is fully ready to give my baby the best possible chance next time round. it sounds fairly common tho so i wouldn't worry to much.
