take prenatels when trying to concieve???

Well as some of you know i had a d&c on 4/2. Well i thought i was having pregnancy symptoms so i took a test today and it was a big fat BFN! Ugh i was so hoping for my BFP but today is only CD27 so maybe it is to soon. If i dont have af in a week ill test again. Anyways my doctor also told me to take prenatels if you are trying to concieve. Has anyone else heard of this? Thank you for all of your help.

Ashley_s I will be sure to take my prenatal again to give my body and the baby a boost. I sure hope it was just to early for us cuz bfn's suck. BOO!!! baby dust to you as well.

I was told by my doctor to continue taking my prenatal since we are ttc again. It gives you a healthy boost for baby. Omega is also good to have it helps brain development. My miscarriage was 3/16 and I still have no af and mild cramps like I did before..took a test sunday and got a bfn. BOO! Hopefully ours was just too early! Baby dust**

i just spoke to nutrica care club nurse online and yes she said to take vitimns n iron ect to prepare your body for preg is a very good idea so im going up today to get some sooooooooooooo thankyou so much as i never knew or even gave that any thought b4, good luck with everything . tam xx

Hi lil_lady thank you for your responce. I will see if i have any refills left from before so i can take them once again. I sure hope we get a bfp soon as well. I also wish you luck in ttc!!!

Hi Dolphin05, its normal for your doctor to recommend you to start using Prenatal vitamins while trying to conceive. This way your body will have the vitamins and nutrients that your baby will need. We are currently ttc and I am taking my prenatals daily. I would listen to your doctor and whatever they recommend because they are only trying to help. I wish you the very best of luck and hope you get your BFP soon!!

Prenatels as in the vitamins you take while you are pregnant. My cycles were 27-28 days prior to last pregnancy and d&c, in which id also show positive on hpt by day 28. Which is why i thought i may show positive today but did not.

love i have 6 choldren and never heard prenatels. please tell me what they r ? ive just had a d n c and im devistated but my results dont show on test till quiet later than 27 days lol im more like double that!!! good luck n best wishers. tamtam305
